Yup feels like we’re starting to eat our own. The past five years have spoiled us. I’m sure Sasky fans are enjoying all of this but who cares they suck and will always suck. Amen.

I fully expect O'Shea to win at least one more cup as HC somewhere else... And it'll take us awhile to recover and rebuild.
-
It’s the CFL. Retool the DL (that can start now even, start brining in guys) and retool the OL ( off season. Free agency. Maybe trade) and you know what the team prob beats Sask twice and Calgary atleast once.

Umm. Didn’t O’Shea have to challenge it even so yeah lol at the refs and league taking it seriously. Head shots against Zach seem to be taken the exact opposite way it should be. O’Shea had to challenge it. That right there is the biggest problem. Refs didn’t even call it.

Haven't read through the discussion so i dont know if this has been brought up. Does Hogan just doesn't believe in hot routes to beat a blitz? Middle of the field wide open every single blitz the riders sent and not once did anyone fill it. Thankfully BCs defense is as useless as the Bombers offense so they should be in the playoff picture all year.

Removed some posts in an attempt to keep things civil.

Well if they don't want QB's taking head shots seems like a pretty clear decision to make. But they also don't seem to care quite enough to take that step.
-
I hope so cuz yeah. Never gonna be a thing. wrestling fans might understand aew and tony khan vs WWE. Yeah it’s ugly. The fan ain’t doing so well. The fans dad tho gave him the money so it’s unlimited funds but it’s a mess. I feel both O’Shea and Walters Go. I don’t think they necessarily go elsewhere but I think they are done here after this season. Ottawa might make changes but everyone else prob not right. Us and Ottawa really. I hope Wade sticks around and makes the right hire cuz it better not be McManus as GM. That would be not good at all. Honestly. Who are the candidates? The next ones? Are there any or should we actually hope Osh and Walters are back next season but with more of a retool approach.

Deleted some bickering, while leaving relevant info intact Some good stuff here...do carry on...but not as you were

So who's the hotshot GM and Coach combo you want to lead us to the next era of glory? There's a lot to lose in blowing up a front office that has proven itself more than capable of fielding dominant teams. I mean in my entire lifetime we've had only a handful competent GM's and head coaches. I think it is quite likely that the key people in that front office are ready to move on though, and that's a big part of what happens next. Doubt many people in real life have done the exact same job for 12-13 years. It's pretty unusual. -

Tim Burke was extremely unlucky. Just needed another decade. -
👍👍

We were extremely lucky to be dominant for several years is quite a take. I get you’re mad, but that’s just nonsense.
-
Lately tho...not far off There was no reason for Schoen to try that tho..hes still young...wouldn't have made difference...and was just delaying the inevitable...surgery required
-
I suspend Reavis because it was a clear head shot and I feel those should come with harsh penalties so that we see less of them in games since CTE is serious. However one man's opinion.
-
Well most recent ACL example I'm acquainted with was Gavin Walls in 09 finishing that season braced then working back from surgery with Montreal. One of my former athletes try to tough out a CFL career with constant ACL injuries with the Als. Like you said more common on lines, but Rourke's brother played most of last season for Indiana on a torn ACL braced. Obviously not possible in every case. Need stability and ability for movement. I luckily have not had knee issues, but near constant ankle and shoulder issues. I'm not saying you're wrong. You're attacking this situation with one point of view that everything the Bombers do is wrong. Your bias makes everything you say basically meaningless at this point because you can't look at anything with any moderate logic.

I fear that if a couple of tweaks perks the team up a bit, that might be a signal to upper management that all is going to be well. The Blue have been sinking into mediocrity for the third year now and have been bypassed by the Riders (ugh), the Stamps and TiCats. There is nothing to lose by firing the authors of the decline and new coaches plus the roster changes most here have been advocating will give the fans hope instead of fatalism,

Dline rotation yeah is huge...if its with guys who can play...and their dline is primary American...they have a global...and the one Canadian they drafted...but they also get minimal reps out of the 9 they listed And our Cdn starters with reg reps on defence are weakest in league save for Lawson...there is that too

Sask is constant rotation on DL. Which was also a strength here in the 2016-22 era. They also use way more Canadians on D than we do. Start 3 and regularly use 5. -
Yup...target mid section He didn't need to target the collar bone area U don't need to.be hit in the head directly to be concussed...that's probably why...its the sudden stop of the body and brain stays in motion and slams into skull....
-
There was no point in it...and usually too a braced attempt is more on lineman...not skilled position guys...and what good woukd a guy less than capable be?? And then surgery post sesson...and miss the whole next...if he has surgery after we exit season...and won't be late Nov...he won't be ready for 2026 I like how your take is supposed better than anyone else and everyone else's is wrong...have you played with an acl injury...before it...after it...and had surgery...and played again?...just curious... Why didnt we brace him up last yr then...or Parker...or Bonds this yr...Biggie....cause its stupid We tried it after he retore a fresh repair cause we woefully weak and lacking talent and depth...and woefully inept at rostering ...that's not an excuse or reason for what we tried...it was desperation at its finest Also...detail everytimes its been done here...seeing as its so often

Concussions are weird. Sometimes you get cranked in the head so good you are out cold, other times you aren’t. I’ve had concussions as I played hockey and honestly the worst ones were the ones that I didn’t even think were bad. Now I played before we all knew about CTE but concussions are interesting. Sometimes the lightest smack to the head produced the worst concussion. The big shots like helmet coming off shots, made the ears ring but not the head. 2014 is 11 years ago. 2018 is 7 years ago. None of that matters in 2025. Living on borrowed time for 11 years now? OooooOooOoo K. Zach is still a capable QB but he’s being protected by the Taliban and Randolph. Seriously. We got 1 oline right now. It’s Randolph. The rest of the leaguers QBs protected by Team America (**** yeah) and we protected by the military they put together via posters and Facebook. It’s no wonder Zach hasn’t been hurt more. Count. It’s 1 2 and kaboom. Zach don’t even get 2 seconds to make a decision most the time.
-
Zach has had issues with concussions dating back to 2014....in in sask he sat out 6 weeks due to a concussion 2018...Zach is living on borrowed time.....
-
Yup but he proved he wasn’t done when we picked him up. But he has somewhat regressed to date and with this latest injury the writing may be firmly on the wall to move on to the next phase of his life outside of playing football.
