  1. Past hour
  2. Nope disagree whether you're an elite athlete or past your prime cuz the same result consequence free is the point.
  3. I'm leaning towards Kolankowski. So, what are the responsibilities of the centre? He's got to snap the ball either shotgun or short to the QB. Kolankowski seems OK with this but I've noted several mis-fires both long and short over the season. He's also got to call out or adjust blocking assignments for the called play based on what he sees of the defense. I don't know how he did this, yelling above the crowd noise? He certainly didn't do it by hand signals. And, given the way our QBs were under duress during most plays, he might not have done a good job of this. As for blocking, he looked terrible to my eyes. As someone else posted earlier, he was always looking for someone to block. And, I think that he is undersized.
  4. Is that referring to Evan Bouchard? Because if so it's a ridiculous comparison considering the absolutely dominating offense post seasons the guy has put together last 2 seasons and big point totals in the previous regular seasons. Guy like that having a poor start to an nhl season is a lot different than over the hill players or players who were never good enough getting continual rope.
  5. Has Walters gone MIA? I'm waiting for his presser. If he comes across as towing the line, maintaining the status quo for next year, we're sunk. If we bring back the same core I honestly think we'll be last in the CFL. I'm not expecting full transparency if Walters is planning big changes, but I'm hoping for some hints as a glimmer of hope.
  6. The thinking and attitudes that produced three years of very predictable decline are not going to go away. If nothing changes, then nothing will change.
  7. I imagine he’ll get some looks down there, for sure. We’ll see…. He’d be a good fit up here.
  8. That's why we need the GM and/or BOD to step forward and wield an axe. Mille has shown himself to be pretty astute but he has to show that O'Shea's and Hogan's performances are worthy of dismissal.
  9. Not offensively he doesn't and he admitted as much during his presser. Said he can't draw up plays for the offense but he should have done more to support them with a rookie OC.
  10. Yep, was defensive rookie of the month at one point too I believe. Good add to the neg list but we'll see if he ever ends up here.
  11. He was just released from the Steelers practice squad. Was a starter for them last year and I think he had 4 picks.
  12. IF we're going to remain status quo in 26' ,then I would expect the team to finish in the basement ...Other clubs in the west will change and finish ahead of us, while we float into obscurity...How the hell Miller is going to sell a repeat of the incompetent bull$hit to the paying public next year, would be more than miraculous...There needs to be some serious change on this club....player wise and coaching...Doing otherwise will be accepting failure...with the inevitable result
  13. Today
  14. Just to draw a comparison to the NHL, here's a blurb from NHL trade talk and the impact of allowing certain players to continue to play: 'The calls for Bouchard to sit are no longer whispers, and the players on his team, all of whom are watching Bouchard go consequence-free, are picking up bad habits'. Works in football as well being the ultimate team sport that it is.
  15. Does Grey Cup 2025 news now officially fall under 'Non-Bombers'? Grey Cup game officially is sold out https://3downnation.com/2025/11/04/112th-grey-cup-in-winnipeg-has-officially-sold-out/
  16. You know it’s bad when you don’t have to be a football x and o guy to know JT had absolutely no business being out there.
  17. Thats multi layered.....who isnt roster let alone any business starting or worthy/usefull....I'd go with JT...Kolo...Korn...Corcorran....Ball...Weitz tho he did get removed AS for starters who aren't the best use of assets and cost...and the cost of player not worth the bang....Kramdi....T.Jones...Mitchell (tho i sure he will be quietly gone) All guys who played the one corner......Have to get better, and bigger....also was it scheme related and lack of pressure....maybe...but we still need to get physical DB's Wilson tho played well...needs to be replaced with the Canadian kids and open up ratio swap for us....That being said...Healthy Wilson is he better as the reserve DA LB over T.Jones...and would he be more cost effective...?? as well as offer a better all-around usefulness? Our recieving corp heeds major overhaul and talent...Keep Clercius..Demski...Pokey...the collective rest can all be replaced...need to be replaced. And Demski shouldn't be the A1 guy at this juncture
  18. Yeah for me Jake isn't even in consideration. I vote kolankowski and then probably a couple others on offense.
  19. part of that is the real poor receiver routes in this ....i wont even call it playbook....cause I dont think we even really had one...and a lot of what we installed and ran in camp to "prepare" everyone....we jettisoned....like wtf Preaching for 2 yrs now coaching is our downfall....and if in playoffs this yr would be again....and wow.....it reaered its ugly but all too familiar head I also dont think Osh knows how to coach/scheme or make any kind of play or teachable lesson....as he hasnt shown it....and I dont thinkn he can show it....when he has less than stellar co-ords his teams are brutally bad...and he isnt able to take on a role other than be the "leader"...and even then...seen minimal actual leading of late...a whole lotta excuses...non-chalantness...deflection....zero accountability....it's all good baby....cant we see it??....lol
  20. and he got a chance to start when???...What has Kolo done other than make Osh all firm to keep him playing...ot's not his stellar performance There are a lot of instances where guys dont get a legit chance here and it's all on Oshea....if he has a hardon for a particular guy...good luck getting a chance to bump them out a lot of our success in jumbo is on him....on short yardage too...generally guys go his side...and when they dont...we often fail If a guy can block as 6th...off edge as a TE...one who is always in second level creating chaos.....do people truly think he isnt able to do that at center...his position he played all his life?... I can see why people say he hasnt earned it....but he hasnt been given a 2..3 game stretch to run with it...Kolo has been given ....gifted a 3 yr run...and got shittier each and every yr...how shitty does a guy have to get to finally be punted off the roster....Watching Jake..Kolo...Korny and others before....reeeeaaaaaal shitty apparently
  21. One of the reasons IMO we struggle to find open receivers.
  22. except that’s not the case. He started a few games early on, and has been the best and most used 6ol in the league. You’d be stunned how much we have gone heavy set in the last two years.
  23. This is what it comes down to. For who is worse between kola and jake, I’ll say kola 10 times out of 10. Jake is washed but kola is a never was good guy. A dud dt hurts, but in this league you can work around that. We did last year, and with the points allowed on D this year. Kola on the other hand, cripples the whole offence. When he gets down field he can never find a guy to block, he can’t lock a front 6 guy down when he gets on one, and is snaps have become brutal. Lt has long been considered the key cog in offensive lines all over football. The blind side protection was key and teams put their best pass rushers on that side. That lead to teams rushing their best dl at the rt who was often significantly worse. So demand became higher for RTs in pass protection. The new phase, is up the middle rushers. Guys like aaron donald, and chris jones who can dominate inside out, at most techniques with power and speed. We’ve seen guys from stove to bryant and johnson plus many more when it was our priority. Even adams who when fresh can beast mode any interior ol in the league on any given play. (problem is consistency with him.) As more and more teams carry more dl who are more athletic, a weak point at C becomes a free pass. For the past two plus years every team lines up a guy on the nose in passing downs, twists, or crosses the centres face on the huge majority of snaps. Because every one knows you can get easy free disruption going at kola. That’s why his snaps are suffering, he’s routinely getting his butt beat. not just blown by, but turned around, thrown down, powered through. Kola is the worst starter in the league. kornelson and jake are in the top 5 for worst players though. I’m preparing a soft padded room for my self when the news comes out that kola and thomas will be back
  24. He was a ****. No seriously that was his name.
  25. Kolo on offense and Jake on D. If i had to start one of them though, it's Jake.
