  1. Past hour
  2. Alright. Shay. J Jones. Griffin/smith.
  3. If only we had prime milt right now.
  4. Seems like the majority are on the same page. Are the coaches. ???
  5. Eli been around longer than kolo. Sink or swim time.
  6. I mentioned it earlier in the week, but that's how Khari and Milt made a living back in the day. They both just knew where to go and when to go there.
  7. I agree. Hot routes or not, there was a lot of blitzing from the Riders which left a lot of open space available in the middle. Nary a Bomber receiver in sight though. Is that on the receivers, Collaros' audibles (Does he even call them?) or an OC, who can't seem to "adjust at half-time"?
  8. Today
  9. That's a huge blow for the Stamps. Will he go into the HOF as a Bomber or Lion?
  10. This is pro football. If they don't show anything then they should be gone. You give them a few games, yes but that's it. Sink or swim. Find the next guy. Walters needs to walk the plank. I'm willing to give Osh another year but this season is Walters doing.
  11. Agreed they should have gone all out this year because the cup is here rather focus on past success to fill the seats. It was an arrogant move by management
  12. The biggest issue to me are both lines. Offensively, It's time for Stan to call it a career. Unless his play is as good or better than someone 10 years younger than he is he needs to retire. There's no way a Tackle approaching 40 can play as well as he did when he was 30. Kolo is a liability at Center. The next guy who can go. He can still be on the roster but as a depth player but not as a starter. He should be chained to the bench with a lock & key & someone drops his helmet in the Red River. Certainly, we know that there are veteran Centers out there available in free agency & we have to sign one of them. I think Neuf can still play but I'm on the fence with him. As has been said, he's one helluva tough player & we need that kind of nastiness out of our guys on the OL. Defensively, we have wasted Willie Jefferson over the past 3 years with the shitty Canadians that play beside him like Thomas. We've neutered what greatness he may have had early in his career with the Bombers when Nevis, Stove & Kongbo caused interior chaos on opposing OL's. Now, it may not be worth it anymore to keep him because of his age & salary after this season. What a bloody waste. The Bombers are the only team I know who deliberately weakened themselves defensively by never replacing someone like Stove, Nevis & Kongbo. Vaughters the same as he gets no help either. It's hard to criticize Vaughters & Jefferson when they have such dreadful Tackles beside them whether it's a 3 or 4 man front. Improve the DL & watch the linebackers & secondary flourish once more. And we'll shave at least 100 points off of our points against.
  13. I dunno. Some teams run an offense where there isn't a lot of hot routes & sight adjustments. I do know the receivers & qbs have to be on the same page when it comes to recognizing coverages & what routes will be run so the ball can be placed where it's supposed to be. It could also be communication or the type of offense Hogan runs.
  14. I forgot Yoshi too.
  15. Bryant was still in his prime years. Neuf was a tough SOB when healthy
  16. I came across CFLvideo1964 that posts CFL, NFL, WHA, NHL and other league games on YouTube. Lots of Bomber games and the videos are of pretty good quality given their age. This person must have a had a huge video tape collection- I wonder if it's Joe Pascucci. Here's a full game of Montreal at Winnipeg from 1980 (including commercials).
  17. They'd lost a bunch of pieces on O, as well... It's remarkable how they've mostly kept on rolling.
  18. Kolo is on the ground for so much of the game it looks like he’s playing Nightcrawlers instead of football. I’d like to see how the guards do with a half decent C. Eli, Vibert, some American, whoever. That’s the swap that needs to be made before anything else. At least get someone there who isn’t physically dominated constantly, I can deal with the odd communication mishap or rookie mistake.
  19. Disagree. If Kolanlowski was capable of being embarrassed by his performances, he would have committed seppuku long ago.
  20. Desarlais on the OL. Stove at DT.
  21. I mean in 2019 and 2021, you have Jefferson, Jeffcoat and Biggie who were studs on D. Nichols and Alford were studs on D in 2021. Alexander too. On offense, Harris was a stud both years. Lawler and Zach were in 2021 and I'm likely missing people I should be listing.
  22. Agree we have very few standout stars. We’ve got a lot of good complementary pieces but lack big time playmakers. In some cases it’s talent and some cases it’s scheme. That’s the thing about the team this year, there’s not just one glaring need holding them back. There’s one problem or another at every position group besides RB. Coaching problems, talent not up to snuff, front office issues, injuries, poor roster use. Every factor that can make the wheels fall off is hitting us at once.
  23. So with Kyrie Wilson... I love him as a player. For years I called him the most underrated player in the league... but given his age and injury history he isn't the future... so why not work our Canadians who should be the future in there?
  24. No one said 1 game...
  25. These proposed changes are all based on the fact that the coaching staff actually acknowledges that there are issues... I don't see that happening. The OL is not changing the rest of the way unless someone gets injured.
