Imho all Milt is doing is offering his opinion up from a caring point of view. I think it's obvious that Milt is not intimate with the details, ZC is not obligated to listen to him but eyes don't lie in what ZC has endured over his career. I don't see how it's meant to hurt him or his family but that's just me. -

this is pretty much exactly what I said after we signed him back... the frustrating/confusing part is we decide to stick with Wilson at 32 years old after three injury reduced seasons... but move on from Woli at 30 years old with only 1 injury season

I agree with Milt... but O'Shea is also totally correct... can't possibly make that call definitively without knowing all the info... -
we a better defense with Griffin at SAM...he needs to stay there....Kramdi tho I think can grow nicely into a more than capable safety if we just stick with playing a traditional role there with him Shay and Smith should be getting reps...even 2...3 a game at Wil and MAC respectively

I'm thinking it's more Milt has strong care and concern for ZC's long-term health than getting his likes up but that's just my guess. -
yeah cause a guy with 2 yrs bouncing around in the NFL and has crazy athleticism is clearly worse than Weitz....

Didn't see it mentioned anywhere but we cut Oyelola yesterday.

Have you been watching the games, other than Jones Wilson is our best runstopper and it isn't even close. He's consistently the first one to the ball carrier to hold them to limited yardage and can actually tackle. I agree we need to give Shay and particularly Smith reps maybe move griffin/kramdi to safety for those and have one of them come in for downs with 4 linebacker sets

At some point the quality of the rest of his life has to come first. I’ve got a close family member dealing with severe post-concussion issues from an accident that happened a decade ago, he’ll probably never fully recover. People don’t realize the toll it takes and for how long after the fact. -
accountability for poor play....have they not mentioned that??..lol....I being funny and somewhat joking but think also leads to complacency and lack of urgency/effort at times from players we seem to witness...nobody is worried about finding a place on the bench....or PR Some the guys we parked on PR after being on roster didnt do anything to earn that demotion
-
At some point, I think Players need to understand that themselves. Like this isn't Demski's first rodeo. He would be an absolute monster blitz beater.
-
Cats signed our boy Myron Mitchell....did they have a guy go down?
-
Yiou have prime Wilson...Nevis and Stove inside....even a less useless Thomas...can't believe I said that but he did make some plays then....but it evaporated in 2021 We also had upstarts Kongbo and Hansen...who were actually given reps and time to grow which was also huge and highly underrated....why did Osh stop actually using young guys?....
-
It's a case when the team needs to know when, and who to move on from totally...and who is the best older option kept as depth A guy like Kyrie....perfect DA as a LB....Behind young upstart depth...Especially a Canadian in his spot He can play teams...and plays them well...can give you starter quality reps at Wil and Mac in game if injury occurs....and if Osh pulled his stubborn head out his arse would be ideal Naturalized Canadian and could come in for the Canadian who replaced him if they get hurt...etc yeah...you beat me to this comment about Cdn linebacker...We have the guys to do it...Makonzo if healthy as well has to be in that equation...
-
yeah if it's a mental oopsie daisy....or a rookie error....learnable and correctable When it's an issue of ability and just being over matched more than not, and not able to finish and maintain engagement...thats a different issue and time for change...I guess reason for change Osh said it best himself "you look at a guts film from years ago, and you can see what he's capable of" Thats just dumb....To think guys dont regress, or aren't capable of that anymore but relying on it...gets you what you see now Maybe look at film from yrs ago and say..."gimme a player who can replicate that|" there was oodles of top talent available too...and in the 3 main areas of need where we are majorly lacking to boot

Sucks for Flo...when he was available in trade....wonder why we didnt jump on that
-
has our coaching not hammered that into the heads of the receiver's?....that and also how/where/when to break off routes?...

Milt is not wrong...ZC got his marbles scrambled last yr.....and 3 times this yr...when is enough enough...Sure may seem insignificant now, but 10 yrs...15...different story And to be honest...or penchant for playing hurt guys....not glowing in a positive way -

Selfishly... I would want Elgersma to bounce around a bit down south before he settles up here. If he comes up this year, and balls out next year, he's probably gone again in 2027. If he spends the next year and a half bouncing around PRs and Camps looking for a shot and comes up in 2027, he's more likely here for the long haul. -
Safety left the middle? OK milt let's score a touchdown.

Mos uncomfortable because people are calling out his MO and he can't just fall back on the wins and losses to justify it. Safe to save he's feeling the heat. -

MOS didn’t sound too pleased with Milt on the coaches show yesterday. “I think he started off by saying that because of who it is, saying it, Milt Stegall, a lot of people listen. And I think because of that powerful voice, he should probably choose his words a lot more carefully than he did. You know, he's not qualified to make those decisions or he certainly doesn't know what's going on. And I'm not qualified either, right? But I have a little more insight into the situation, obviously. But you know, there's, when you make those pretty brash statements, you're, you know, and you make them quickly in the spur of the moment, you're not considering his family or his people that care about him when you make those statements, right? And I think a little more care and concern should have went in before, you know, announcing to the world and creating clickbait and getting your likes up.” -
Whichever he chooses. He played 6 seasons in each city and statistically, his best seasons were in BC. But if you look at what his accolades, Winnipeg has the edge so there's a good argument for both. He had more all-star seasons with BC but more team success & league awards here. BC: 1 Grey Cup, 1 MODP, 4x All CFL team Wpg: 2 Grey Cups, 2 MODP's, 2x All CFL team.
