  1. Past hour
  2. If I'm Collaros I would seriously ponder retirement, sure he can still play but at what cost for the future.
  3. They were running right at Woodbey and Vaughters today. Not even sure either made a tackle. That's all LB's are out there to do vs the run. Flow to the ball, make a play.
  4. I see no reason not to work our high draft picks in considering some of the useless NIs that get dressed. So you lose guys like Wilson or Jones at LB, boo hoo.
  5. We should have kep the ball on the ground. Just feed Brady. If we don't get a first down we punt it away so the Riders have a long field to work with. That was a Hogan call. It was dumb. Hogan had already gave up on the running game.
  6. Ok now analyze the other 20 spots on the field where we lose every week. Well you don't build a roster from scratch every year. But they should turn the WIL spot into a Canadian one because it's not like the Americans they are using there are making any plays.
  7. You know what the most damping thing about the roster usage is? Corcoran gets WAY more playing time on offense than either of the linebackers we picked high get on defense. So why the **** didn't we take Corcoran first? Seems to me the simple solution is play your best Canadians first and fill in other pieces around them i don't believe for a second that we do that.
  8. I would start by turning the WIL spot to a Canadian spot. You have that, you have Kramdi and the rest of the D is flexible. Open up another 2 American spots, use one on O, one on DL. Woodbey, Wilson, Ayres...no more than 1 of them should be dressed unless you're going to try to use Woodbey or Ayres as an edge rusher. I'd pretty quickly consider going to 4 Americans on the OL. Because we aren't going anywhere with this group. Way too inconsistent both run and pass. Not going to unearth a Canadian out of nowhere and the ones we have can't play. Dressing 2 of that group of Canadians would be all I could stomach. Would be looking at calling back guys we cut, had a crapload of Americans in camp, or guys from other CFL camps. See if you can stabilize for rest of season. I'd be looking for another receiver/RB/returner option. Echols could be it. But should be trying to sign others for a look. Looking for a spark from someone as a playmaker in the last third. Guys like Mitchell, Wheatfall, easy to drop them while looking for that spark because they are providing nothing most weeks.
  9. No, a Grey Cup is not even in conversation. But they are not the reason for the last 2 losses. The biggest reason is the OL, as you've been saying for weeks. There are changes that could be made there...
  10. So, even though the Americans are bad as you say we replace them with a Canadian who is worse.
  11. Ok so what the **** is Pokey supposed to do different? He's got multiple guys on him.and the ball is thrown to him and not ahead of him. I know you're a collaros apologist, but they weren't a receiver doing something wrong, they were balls they dbs had a chance at. The one before half especially shouldn't have been thrown. Situational awareness dictates a turnover is the worst case Ontario. And further to that.... collaros has thrown those exact same interceptions a million times this season. He's forcing plays without having the ability to put those balls where only the receiver can catch it. It's not a new thing
  12. For me it's mostly because I'm not 100% certain the INTs are his fault. Could be Pokey. *Could*.
  13. Oh yeah he will double down with his boys, but it would send a hell of a message if you made Willie Jefferson a healthy scratch.
  14. I have routinely said I don't know enough to know. But I'm very interested in the conversation. I truly appreciate JBR posts because I think he's the closest to actually knowing how this can get better.
  15. It just astounds me that people can watch collaros throw ints that cost the team 2 scores, and momentum and turn around and blame the backup qb.
  16. That's one of the things they should/could do but I have zero faith MOS will do that.
  17. Definitely agree with this. And if Serge doesn't have an off night... It's tough, but it is what it is. Move on to next week.
  18. I think they would have to screw up EXCEPTIONALLY hard to not sell out the last two games. Huge season ticket base means there isn't a ton of inventory to sell plus the aforementioned party atmosphere... And those last two games are STM ticket exchange games
  19. The last, faint hope died when he went out. Momentum was pretty iffy already at that point.
  20. Well I bet you we see some more intensity if the slacking veterans start losing jobs.
  21. Momentum died when he gifted the riders 3 points to end the half.
  22. Momentum died once he went out
  23. Throwing ints that lead to points? 9 points for the riders off Zach ints....
  24. Curious - what changes do you see them making to right the ship? I see so many issues with this team that I don't know how they can do that quickly enough to make a difference this season.
  25. If Zach didn’t get hurt we win. He was doing enough.
  26. Yeah but I don't think you're winning a Grey Cup with a D that hardly makes any plays at or behind the line of scrimmage or comes up with those big turnovers themselves. This team could be a 11-12 win team with a tremendous offense and this D. Would struggle to beat other top teams. But with a sputtering offense probably a 8-9 win team.
