Mike O'Shea says the #Bombers offence will indeed look different with Robert Marve at the helm—simply because they have differing skillsets.

I do agree, Brohm and Marve have differing skillsets all right.

This is kind of a scary comment. Did MOS just figure this out and y wasn't this different skillset used more often when the status quo wasn't working.I for one hope Marve lights it up and shows all the haters what's what including MOS Jk just squeak out a win baby..☺

How is this a scary comment. This is a typical MOS comment that is just a thinly disguised sneer at a dumb question. It you find this scary then you are really looking for crap.
Yeah your right just lookin for crap

Marve's scouting report from 2013:

Buccaneers, UDFA. Purdue: Slightly below-average size. Above-average hand size. Transferred from Miami in 2009.

Positives: Very accurate on the run. Above-average velocity. Keeps eyes downfield when outside pocket. Above-average speed. Adequate athleticism overall. Tough: played 2012 bowl game while recovering from torn left ACL.

Negatives: Eyeballs receivers. Gets jittery when intended receiver is covered — just takes off running. Can’t read coverages — throwing into triple coverage on occasion. Long injury history: left ACL injuries in 2009, 2010, and 2012. Poor decisions outside the pocket and throws across his body.

Projection: Might compete with Dan Orlovsky and Adam Weber for the third QB spot, but doesn’t have the tools to beat any of them. May bounce around for a bit as a backup. No need to draft.

Mike Quinn? Was he the QB who threw a pick but instead of throwing it he actually went to throw the ball and the guy from behind took the ball from him b4 he could throw it?

Mike Quinn was the guy that had the Bombers in field goal range and was supposed to just hand off on second down to gain a few more yards to make the game-winning FG easier, and instead he tossed a bomb into the end zone that was underthrown and picked off, thereby losing a game that the Bombers had pretty much won and in the bag.  Berry just about had a coronary and Quinn was on the plane out of Winnipeg the next day, never to play pro football again.  Berry no doubt has his locker emptied before he even got into the locker room.  What a difference a play makes.  If Quinn had followed orders and handed off on that play, he might have stayed around for a year or more, especially given how weak our QB depth was back then in the Taman era (unlike now where we are stacked!!! Stacked!!!) :)

The play was supposed to check down if the safety was playing deep, Berry asked afterwards "didn't you see the safety?" Quinn replied something along the lines of "I saw him but thought I could beat him anyway". Well that was that and he was out of town the next day.
