SpeedFlex27 Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 (edited) Never was a Deadhead mostly because I didn't drop acid in the 60's. They only had one song I liked & it was their most commercially successful, A Touch Of Grey from 1986. I was never into that California Drug Counter Culture ****. Edited January 11 by SpeedFlex27

You're talking about lead singer Jerry Garcia. He had serious health complications mostly due to his very bad lifestyle choices related to being overweight, drinking, drug addictions & diabetes. .He died 31 years ago in his mid 50's. Cost him his life at a relatively early age.
iHeart Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 (edited) I never really read the strip but the animated series did air on Teletoon which I did watch. Needless to say I'd be sad about Adams if he wasn't a moron https://people.com/scott-adams-dead-dilbert-creator-was-68-11882012?utm_campaign=peoplemagazine&utm_content=manual&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com Edited January 13 by iHeart
Brandon Posted January 13 Report Posted January 13 Dilbert and Office Space are/were perfect representations of working in an office environment with cubicles. It was a classic comic strip during the 90's and 00's.

She was great in them. She was fantastic in Schitts Creek and I assume her biggest role were the Home Alone movies. What's crazy is that I saw on social media last week the clip of her in the John Candy documentary talking about having dreams of John and asking him why he had to leave so early. I guess she finally can see her friend again. kelownabomberfan and Noeller 1 1
kelownabomberfan Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Catherine O’Hara, Canadian actor and 'Schitt’s Creek' star, dead at 71 This just plain sucks. She was so amazing. First Joe Flaherty, now her. We're down to just Martin Short, Andrea Martin and Eugene Levy from SCTV still with us. Good to see Andrea Martin working with Martin Short in "Only Murders in the Building". Edited 1 hour ago by kelownabomberfan

I've read a John Candy biography and watched two different documentaries. His family had a history of heart disease, and he was a smoker, heavy drinker who was morbidly obese. He wasn't going to make it much past 43. 7 minutes ago, Brandon said: As a Canadian it is almost a requirement to watch classic SCTV sketches. She was great in them. They were just starting production on Season 2 so this is probably going to cause a lot of issues as she would have had a part in every script.
Noeller Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I'm not a Schitts Creek person at all, but she's an absolute icon of Canadiana. SCTV and Home Alone are what I associate her with most. Jeeze... 71 is just WAY too young unless there's some kinda underlying illness, but she's been really active with The Studio, and it sure didn't seem like she was having any issues.

I read he was afraid he would meet the same fate as his father which was dying early
