captaincanuck12 Posted yesterday at 12:32 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:32 AM Will this be the day we get our first win of 2026?
captaincanuck12 Posted yesterday at 12:40 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:40 AM Nice shorthanded goal by the cap... But now This is the third straight penalty against the Jets. Â
captaincanuck12 Posted yesterday at 01:22 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:22 AM Good God this team sucks.  They have five shots through 27 minutes of play.  And most of the second has been in the Jets end. Can't clear pucks can't sustain any offense.Â
kelownabomberfan Posted yesterday at 01:25 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:25 AM well on the plus side, we'd be a pretty good AHL team...wow is this bringing back memories of 1981. Yikes.
captaincanuck12 Posted yesterday at 01:36 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:36 AM I just remember how bad this team was 15 years ago. We were just happy to have a team. Â
kelownabomberfan Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM This is the opposite of Shoresy. We may not win another game all year.
captaincanuck12 Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:48 AM A stupid penalty by demelo and then by Stanley leads to two goals against. And our power play is completely inept.

Noeller Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago It sucks but... **** happens. They were #1 in the whole league last year. They can't be THAT far off. Bomberguy 1

Bomberguy Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago This is on management/drafting. They’ve had a lot of time to add to this core but can’t find the solid adds other teams can.  If you can’t call up your 22-23 year old farmhands because they’re not ready 🤔 that’s an organizational failure. Chevy has chosen trades for borderline older players to supplement the roster instead of the next core IMO. Hopefully they don’t mess up this draft because the way they’re playing they should be in line to get a pretty quality player.🫨
HardCoreBlue Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago We have an elite core so I’m hoping it’s an ongoing re-tool to get us back to the top 1/3 of the league and not a complete rebuild where you never know how long it will be when it pays off e.g the Sharks Goalie and Bomberguy 2

There's no chances in making the playoffs. bring up the Young guns... Get them some valuable NHL experience so we're ready to go for next year. Goalie 1

Hopefully they don’t mess up this draft because the way they’re playing they should be in line to get a pretty quality player.🫨 Thing is when you’re good you don’t get high draft picks. Highest pick was Laine but originally we were supposed to be drafting 7th or so, believe scheif was taken 9th so none of our actually 1sts were less than 7th overall. When you are good those 1sts become later picks and most those guys actually don’t make a difference. If we get a legit top 3 or 5 pick this year that’s our 1st legit top 5 pick since returning. We won Laine. Who is 22 23 on the moose? Expecting 3rd round and later dudes to be top 6 talent is a wild take. Guys with potential on the moose currently are Salo Yager Chibrikov and that’s about it currently but Freij and Sasha are 2 strong D prospects and He and Walton are 2 very good forward prospects. Lambert is a bust. Ford is a 4th liner in the nhl. Reality is when you have a chance and your pick is gonna be between 22 and 32 most years, you trade it. None of the picks we traded have turned into game changers. Management isn’t on the ice. Honestly injuries and just players who appear washed up but what do you do. Do you trade Nyquist Pearson Schenn and miller and the sorts? For what? A bag of pucks cuz none are bringing back a 1st 2nd or 3rd. Bring up the young guys after the trade deadline then go on a roll and **** our chances at a high pick. McKenna Ivar S and the NoDak D are game changers.  here’s the problem. We got scheif Connor and Vilardi plus Perfetti when healthy (he’s not)  And emerging talent like Morgan Barron but then we got a whole bunch of 4th line guys including the captain Nino Iafallo (that would be the perfect 4th line actually ) Toews Pearson Nyquist and name it really. That’s the problem. We don’t have top 6 talent. We have plenty of 4th line talent. Edited 1 hour ago by Goalie Noeller 1
