I'm still pissed that they snubbed Schiefele again!!!

Honestly I'm not surprised, but hey at least J.Mo is in who else is going (and on other teams)

This didn’t surprise me. Mark’s best chance was in 22 but COVID wiped that out. Not that he hasn’t been amazing, but is it possible the team’s record entered into the conversation?

I don't know what more Scheifele could do to make this team. It's insane to me especially when you see who made th team ahead of him. Embarrassing. 

Doesn't the Olympic Squad have alternates? I mean even if he didn't make the main squad J.Mo should have made alternate even and Scheif on the main squad

I agree there’s not much more he can demonstrate that he belongs in this elite group. I’m wondering now is it have to do with certain people perspectives on his non physical attributes?

Yeah they do. 55 is a flight from participating but with Tom Wilson there Im not expecting injuries

I’d agree with this. Wilson and 40 year old Marchand makes no sense. Bedard not on the team doesn’t make sense either. Horvat over Scheifele is also mind numbing

Josh was guaranteed to make it. He was at the 4 nations and everything. He made the team. That was obvious. Scheifele not making it is bullshit.

I just don’t get the logic. Marchand Stone Horvat and Wilson is just insane. I remember when we took the best players and dominated. Now they building lines and having roles for lesser talented slow players. 55 and Bédard not making it is just it’s stupidity.

Bédard not being chosen maybe due to his health makes sense but 55 who is a first line dominator in the best league in the world makes me think someone’s personal opinion is trumping logic.

So it's not really Team Canada, it's whoever the team's coach wants on his squad. That's OK for the NHL but in best on best the coach picking  guys from his own squad looks kind of bad on Hockey Canada. Mind you, they've been doing a pretty good job of that for a while now 🤪

He was in the conversation until the team took a nosedive. If fans want to blame someone blame Chevy for this. Look on the bright side, Scheif will be well rested for that final push of the season..... towards..... nothing.

Hockey canada should have been shut down 2 1/2 yeras ago after the sex scandals that went on & hazings. They tried to cover up all of that. Disgraceful & disgusting.
