He'd pick the Bombers to lose on their bye week.

  • This era for the Bombers has been an unbelievable ride and the bounce back the club has had with the city since hiring O'Shea way back has been incredible.

  • I liked what I saw from Cooley and would love to see him get more reps.   He seemed to be a guy like Charles Roberts who can do quick cuts and find holes but with the added benefit of being build like

Its too early to say what Smith can or cannot be, currently he seems suited to sam or wil, but thru coaching could be db similar to Griffin.

Haggarty Makonzo,Kelly are all light to be will.

O'Shea said they consider Smith more suited to DB than LB but that was early in TC.

Not true. He isn’t a qb. He isn’t a rb or wr. He isn’t a corner or half. Covering WRs is a specific and extremely demanding skill set.
Makonzo is 200 lbs, he can play wil.

he said he had the flexibility and that upside, of playing S or maybe Sam, is worth a lot. But he hasn’t taken reps at either yet.

Oshea also thinks Ayers is a DE....I wouldnt put too much into what he thinks to be honest

Smith would excell at Wil or SAM if allowed to be groomed and developed there.....that being getting live game reps and worked into rotation....

Makonzo was a rising talent at SAM before he got hurt in Edm...If and when healthy he'd be a huge addition as he would be a better SAM than Kramdi...as he already was in hbis time in Edm, or used in Griffin's role and allow Griffin to be on field 95% of snaps

Part of our issues with depth and nobody in the hopper...the reluctance to work guys in and develop

Makonzo can’t stay healthy so I’d forget about him. 2 years ago was the last time he was healthy.

Shut your mouth.  Top SAM in league on worst defense all-time.

Calvillo has talked about when Trestman came in, they changed things up. More emphasis was put on pass pro and getting the ball out of his hands quickly.

Calvillo also talked about how as a backup that Ham as a veteran qb taught him how to prepare & be ready to play. Ham helped him & Trestman did as well. Having great talent around him at every position offensively did as well. Anyway, this topic isn't worth diagreeing over. It takes more than one person to build a qb.

Experience consists of only two things: events and patterns. Events are singular, but patterns reveal realties, and Collaros has been trending downwards for more than two years. So were four other starters, and I remain unconvinced that a couple of token changes will right the ship.

He played well tonight.

he did. Streveler played well in game 1. i have to wonder if Coach Jackson is having any impact on 8 and 17 this early. so far the team is 3 wins ahead of last year at this time.

I'm just so glad that Buck is gone. Let him stunt Nathan Rourke's growth as a qb.

Funny how the play calls looked better in game one vs. Game 2 eh? Wonder what the change was....

I know he is a bit of a sacred cow to some but we really need to worry more about collaros than some people do.

Cough, cough... Ever thought it was the QB Coach & OC whose now in BC?

I thought coach Jackson missed training camp?  What was that situation about?

Personal leave.  They didn’t go into details.

Im not just sure how much impact he had on Streveler's week 1 performance if he wasn't really around. Hogan would deserve the credit in that case.

He was still working and involved remotely actually...had input and interaction...just wasn't here
