Need JM back sooner than later to make things more difficult on the Stars.

People angry at Bettman for weird reasons. He’s the guy that helped bring the nhl back. They wouldn’t have survived without a new arena and not a soul stepped up with the money to make it happen. Jets 1.0 were leaving with or without Bettman. They wouldn’t be back without him tho.

The hate on Bettman is not unique to Winnipeg.  Look how he gets boo’d when he steps up to talk at the draft every year.  

I like how he has embraced the role.  And smiles when it happens.  Kind of like a wrestling heel. 
 

Truth is he has done a lot to grow the game and revenue in his time as commish.

Betts came into league, said salaries could go up and small market teams couldn't compete anymore. It basically was like MLB is today. Same teams pretty much every year.

Fair, but he’s just unlikable and I know he doesn’t care which makes him even more unlikeable to me.

Game lacks atmosphere early. Like yeah.  After such an intense series this seems like pre season lol. Early tho. 

Refs keeping the whistles away early tho. Pretty blatant trip there.

Have family at the game in one of the suites and said it's absolute bedlam in the arena. Has never experienced anything like it.

Knowing it’s one period game 1 but so far totally different vibe than the Blues series. Blues hit everything in sight practically every game every shift. 

Hopefully 44 gets back soon hunch Stars may be better suited to his game.

It was even. Stars controlled the first 8 minutes. Jets the last 12. Announcers sure love Dallas. It isn’t surprising they love the big D tho is it.

Glad Scheifele got that late goal.

Knew we would start getting screwed on the calls when we went up 3-0 on PPs.  Soft call on Fleury, then the refs ignore a couple obvious penalties on the Stars.  Why can’t officials just call the game in front of them?  If the PPs end up 6-2, so be it.  It’s ridiculous.

Difference in the game.    Although, Dallas had the puck luck tonight.

Really good effort tonight.   Helle was solid.     Jets deserved a better fate... regroup and win game 2.  Need to win a game in Dallas now.

Solid yet not that intense game. Rantanen is Dallas right now. We played well. Helle was old Helle. Oettinger played well also, made some big saves at the end. On to game 2, hopefully Josh is back soon cuz Rantanen is an elite player and Josh is an elite d man. When 1 guy goes beast mode and scores 6 goals in his last 2 games, what can you do. We don’t have a star like that.

Oettinger was dialed in last night. Many grade A type saves. 

Totally different vibe than the Blues series so far.

I like Tanev's energy and intensity he brings but needs to be stronger on the puck imo.
