Think Chicago was the last president trophy winner to also win the cup. We are supposed to be like the Canadian Chicago so that helps.

That was a hundred years ago. We were a manufacturing hub much like the Windy City. We had all the meat packing plants for Western canada like Chicago did for the md west of the US. We were also a grain & wheat hub with an mportant commodity exchange. Both cities grew rapidly because of the railroad but that's where it stopped. Today, we're more like the Canadian version of Des Moines, Iowa.

Focking MIN scores with 22s left in 3rd to tie game. CAL eliminated and we play STL.

Cuz 2000 tix for BTO sold Saturday lol. But Sunday probably better cuz leafs gonna get HNIC and Oilers so we’d be like 8pm start on one of the other sportsnets. Sunday we may get “prime time”. Easter Sunday.

St. Louis gives us Schenn vs Schenn. Minny would have been funner cuz kinda little rivalry there. Second time playing the blues in round 1 tho also. Last time blues went on to win the cup.

St. Louis

Colorado

Vegas

redemption time.

beat all the teams who beat us to get to the cup.

Their goalie stood on his head their entire playoff series that year. Jordan Binnington has done nothing since.

F’ing Ducks. :)

STL is gonna be a TOUGH out for the Jets, and that's with a full roster. Missing Vilardi and Ehlers is brutal. Taking 4 from those guys is a tough ask...

Why. Cuz the media says so? Jets owned St. Louis all year. St. Louis also had one of the easiest schedules in the league the past 2 months. They won 12 in a row then got owned by the Jets then just won their first time since losing to the Jets when they beat Utah. They ain’t that good.

That was the Jets playing pretty much their best game of the year, which was a one goal game until the empty netter. If they have more of that in them, then sure.

There is no easy out in the playoffs. At least that should be the mindset entering into every game, every period, every shift.

Against Hofer too not Bing.

Minnie or Cgy would have been much easier tasks... STL is just about as tough an opponent as anyone in the West. They're just built differently... Big, nasty, can score and have top notch goaltending.

They're feeling real good about themselves right now which we need to change quickly so they don't build off that confidence.

2019 was 6 years ago. St. Louis does not worry me. Rather them than Dallas or Colorado rd 1.

Originally a #NHLJets-St. Louis series was slated to start Saturday in Winnipeg, with BTO concert bumped. But now believe it will be Sunday due to schedule issue with Blues for Game 3 and 4 and NHL not wanting series too spread out. Their building not available April 25/26.
