Huge loss.  Sly and his family were ******* amazing.  He was the Prince of his day, a guy who could play anything better than you, a guy who took influences from everywhere and made them his own.  And his live shows were pure fire.

When I was a little kid in the late 80s, I kind of grew up on KY-58 radio, which was "All Oldies" at that time. I was obsessed with the Beach Boys when I was like 8 or 9. I thought Surfin' USA was the greatest song ever. Ha ha.

Brian Wilson was an absolute genius... One of th best to ever do it.

I was in Grade 7 when Bobby Sherman was popular. He was everywhere in teen magazines, the newspapers, hit songs on the radio, (his songs were hot garbage), he had a variety show & starred in a tv series. The girls in junior high were in a swoon over him. It seemed every girl's locker had a picture of him. I couldn't stand the guy. Then he just disappeared. his career was over as fast as it began. I read in the 90's that he became a paramedic & deputy sheriff. Now 55 years later, I don't hate him anymore. Rest In Peace, Bobby Sherman.

I had to suffer so now y'all can, too.
