False.

Pittsburgh only played here about once a season but he managed to play 9 games here during his career. That's a good rate considering his health issues (and one season shortened due to a lockout) before the Jets left.

Seems like an Ehlers comparable. If he wants to be here still. 7 x 7.5 but laf younger and kind of a playoff beast while Ehlers older and kind of playoff bust.

Not really a comparable because of the RFA years that are factored in to that for Lafreniere and future potential.

I don't know that I'd want to pay Ehlers that much at least not much more than that, but if that is the top line offer, it may be a reason he goes to UFA to see what else is out there.

I'm hoping I don't eat these words and knowing I'm being petty but so far Barry Trotz not accepting the HC role here gives me great joy in seeing the Preds not being able to buy themselves a SC.

St Louis might be an option. He was a player there and spent some time as assistant coach as well.   Also, I believe his wife is from there.
