No bones tonight....minor medical procedure

Time to take a bite out of the big apple.   Can Toffoli score two goals again tonight?   Hope the boys line up well in Bones' absence.   GO JETS GO!

Have to wonder if this is Bowness’ last year behind the bench? 69 years old, had already retired after Dallas before we called him back, and with his wife’s health issue and now this, plus a ready made replacement with Arniel in play, he may decide that slowing down is the way to go now.

I suspect this is true.  I would bring him back for 1 more year, but I think the Jets plan was to always have Arneil as the head coach after Bones.

I thought Bowness only signed a 2 year deal, with the idea that he'd be transitioning to Arniel after this year....

I think DAL was more of a quit or fired situation IMHO.

Laurent Brossoit needs to appear in 7 of the final 15 games to qualify for the Jennings trophy this year. If you were a coach, would you let him sneak into a game for a minute or so when Hellebuyck is playing just to get to that number? He is targeted to probably start no more than five games the rest of the year.

I’d start him 8 out of 15 times. Helle needs a rest. Bro is better than some teams starters.

FIGHT!!!

Good to see the guys standing up for that cheap shot on Scheifs... The Ranger could have easily stopped but decided to go right through 55.

Ehlers just misses on the breakaway

Scheifele cracks it open! Nice garbage goal

and there goes our shutout

Unfortunate break for Bucky. Great initial save... Rebound finds an NYR stick

Another power play upcoming. Exciting game so far for both teams.

Connor on the PP and Jets regain the lead!

Ehlers is absolutely flying out there.. Still trying to do a little too much... But keeping NYR honest

Scheifele!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does Scheif feel lucky?

Scheifs is totally motivated tonight. What a poke check to lead to his breakaway goal,!

That flu game off has him jumping since he came back.

55 is a beast tonight. 6 shots on goal is wild.

Butt clench time.

HAT TRICK!!!!

LUCKY!!!!!!

Scheifs with the well deserved trick!  Keep it up.
