June 6, 20241 yr I see what they were trying to do here, but I feel like this ad misses the mark in almost every conceivable way: https://www.cfl.ca/2024/06/05/keep-it-unreal/ Your annual reminder of the proper way to do it: Edited June 6, 20241 yr by Super Duper Negatron

They'll insist these ridiculous appeal clauses be part of the agreement yet they can't ever get more than (on average) a hundred grand increase per year in the salary cap. They think they do such a great job when the owners just say nope & the players back off. Yet, claim victory for dumbass things like this. Is it any wonder the cap barely keeps up with the coat of living? The owners will give them appeals on just about anything in the CBA but when it comes to meat & potato issues like money, they fail badly.
June 6, 20241 yr So "Canada's Team" with the self proclaimed best and most loyal diehard fans in all of pro sports took a 1.1 million dollar loss last year. Humble pie followed by a giant serving of crow is currently being served in the big rectangle.
