Nice ST tackle by Thompson..... MBT has problem with the snap.....pressured..... throws off his back foot........and Taylor jumps up for another INT.... Bombers fail to convert 2nd and short McCray appears....and sweeps for 10... Zac misses 2nd down pass....but Argos called on PI.. ......keeping the drive alive. Zac....waits and waits.... ...and goes up the middle to Woltar at the 5..... ...and he dives in for the TD! Argos illegal block on the kickoff..... Turnovers and penalties.....Bombers up 14-0 Botched/deflected snap bounces away from MBT... ....for big loss.....handful of boos from the handful of fans.... Zac rolls out and loops one to Schoen...down to the Argo 12 Drive stalls and Leggo hits short FG.......17-0 Blue MBT uses short passes and Harris running....driving.. 3rd and short....Argos go into shotgun......Harris dives across... ...but his knee is down.....sticks have Argos inches short. Turnover Dinwit challenges it....and loses the time-out. Wilson goes down...helped from the field....not looking good.... Bombers can't convert 2nd down again....Olivera Bighill comes on blitz and sacks MBT..... Zac finds Schoen... big gain down to the Argo 40..... Zac overthrows long pass into endzone for INT.... Halftime: D looks good.....O could be better MBT lobs sideline pass to Banks for 25.... MBT goes deep....Houston undercuts Banks at goaline... Banks grabs it falling into the endzone. Call is a TD. Looked like Houston hit the ground before Banks got the ball.... But command center confirms total fluke TD..... Toronto only down by 10, now..... Bombers O failing at running and screen/hitch passes Dink and done.....lame play calling.. MBT has a pass knocked down... then one knocked away.... We are missing Desjardins....and Couture for that matter.... Leggs with some nice punts again.... Harris runs for back to back first downs..... MBT completes pass at the Blue 5.....knocked out by Rose.... ....to Bighill who tips it up....Thompson intercepts.... ....and laterals to Taylor who rolls up the sideline to the 50 Thank god for our D. Huge turnover. Banks getting into it with teammate on sidelines..... Zac has Ellington down to the Argo 20 Bailey catches ball out of the endzone on 2nd down.... Leggs hits 20 yd FG. Bombers up 20-10 Banks is still causing a ruckus at the Toronto bench.... Pinball comes down from the stands to eyeball it..... Harris with a couple of good runs..... Thomas sacks MBT on a 2nd down.... Zac flips suicide dump pass to Grant...who gets clobbered Bombers running a pretty skinny playbook at this point... MBT has completion down the middle...Blue roughing the passer... Pass batted up at the line...Lawson has it go through his hands... Harris running the ball.....like Andrew Harris.... Bede hits FG to make it 20-16 for the Blue Zac scrambles for first down....then completes to Schoen... ....then has Ellington up the middle to the Argo 21 Bombers still can't run the ball inside.. Zac runs around a bit....before taking the sack Mechanical Leggs....with 25 yd FG....23-16 Bombers Argos have ball at their 50....with 1:32 left.... Argos go into hurry up O....MBT completes for FD... Harris runs for another ....MBT throws hitch to Daniels.. ....who scampers down to the Bomber 18.. Pass to Daniels for 8....Harris runs down to the 5 Toronto eating up our D with quick hitters... High snap handcuffs MBT....takes the loss.... MBT to Ambles incomplete...but iffy PI on Rutledge.. First and goal at the 2.....MBT play action..... ....and flips it to Ambles who dives into the end zone Game will be tied with Blue blowing a 17 point lead.... Bede comes out for the convert....and pulls it way wide left! No good!! Another..... and the final Argo mistake... Short kick off attempt is caught by a leaping Jefferson.... 23-22 Bombers. 4-0. But work needs to be done... ....particularly on O.....not running ball inside......... ....lots of check downs and dumps in the passing game.... .....with little downfield blocking. I could go on..... But that would be like complaining about the gin consumed... The end result is still good. Yeah but Ritchie Hall problems. Everything was short throws and yards after the catch. Harris was a bigger issue. The problem was entirely that the O spent too much time not staying on the field. The D was on the sidelines for quite a while, before that last drive. MBT, for whatever reason, plays like that against the Bombers But even so, without that ridiculous TD call, the game is not even close.
