January 25, 20215 yr I said to my wife, we won’t get a PP tonight unless it’s something completely blatant, that they can’t ignore.... Like 6 guys on the ice, making no effort to get off. Unfortunately, our PP did squat. Not having Connor out there certainly doesn’t help. Hope he’s okay. As good as our 1st period was, the 2nd was bad. IMO matching up Schiefele’s line against McDavid’s is a mistake. Every shift is spent in the D zone. Need to come out with some fire in the 3rd.

January 25, 20215 yr Dylan DeMelo cost us at least one point tonight and probably two. The legs were tired. We'll see how they do on a day's rest and Helle in net. Hopefully we see Heinola playing and can Slamberg be worse than Forbort (horrible game).

January 25, 20215 yr Per the interview I watched he seemed to indicate that he was under the 14 day restriction, and so he arrived Saturday night in Winnipeg. From there I guess we do the math. Feb 7th he would be able to practice with the team.
