You're right. He signed 40 minutes after free agency began. I thought it started at 1pm Eastern, when actually it was 1pm Central.

Yeah Boeser seemed to indicate he reached deal before FA started so how could he get offers if the NHL said no early calling

I heard the same thing about Tavares. Apparently he had a bunch of teams offering him more money....how is that possible when he signed on the 27th? Did Tavares and Boeser really get offers before free agency started or are the so called 'Insiders' full of shite?
