MTL @ OTT

Not as interested in this game as I am the next, but here we go

Think the storyline here is ...

Madu vs Stanback

Those 2 have been each team's biggest weapons

Could be fun

I'm glad Montreal has turned it around at least 4 games in.  They looked absolutely horrible to start but now look to be a decent team trending in an upwards direction, even more so when you consider

Random thoughts so far:

- We may get 3 or 4 picks against Davis next week.

- Neilsen is already better than Rod Black at play by play

- As I said a couple weeks ago, Khari has the Als playing hard, tough football every week despite a significant lack of talent.

- Not his fault, but does Brad Sinopoli still play for Ottawa?

- Split screen is brutal

- Wouldn't it be something if Montreal somehow knocked off Hamilton in the playoffs...

- ...Is Montreal actually going to make the playoffs? Doesn't seem so crazy does it?

- Jon Jennings may get some reps in the not too distant future.

Adams looks like a legitimate CFL quarterback and is making Khari look like a great coach. Could Sherman have had that bad an influence on the Als?

50 yarder.  Has hit 61 straight.

Oh. Lol

Great to see Adams playing well, but he's playing against the team that gave up nearly 400 yards to Cody Fajardo.

Man there are some bad secondaries in the league this year.

You gotta wonder how Pipkin beat Adams out of training camp.

Horrible officiating.  How does Pruneau not get a tripping penalty there?

Would the departed Als coach have had anything to do with that decision?

Khari coaching to increase the lead, not protect it.

Holy crikey, Montreal gonna challenge for 2nd place in the East!

Nice performance by Vernon Adams and the Alouettes.

Toronto can learn from the effort and discipline and Coaching of the Alouettes.

campbell missed a challenge there. sideline catch did not look in bounds.

What? But that's not how we do it. Lol

He's got a three score lead now, bet it's Stanback from here on out.

Well I do think there's a case to be made that Khari is in the best situation now because he doesn't have to pound square pegs into round holes for a boss HC.  He can run the offense his way now.

I always thought Sherman was too out of touch with the CFL being already retired when he took the job and skipping portions of minicamps and fan appreciation days in MTL, wrong hire.  But he was a symptom of Kavis Reed's ineptitude and bad owners.  I think Khari is going to be a great coach, but Reed must improve his roster and stay out of his way.

Ottawa basically doesn’t have an offence.  They need to figure out how to win 12-10.

Don't like the chances of that.

turned into a good game

I'm not sure Reed's ego will allow him to not micro-manage the team, but I am very happy for Khari.

I just wish I could see that Trivago commercial 30 or 40 more times.

Be grateful that you do not have to watch endless repeats of the 7-11 and Old Spice body wash commercials.

if Khari turns it around, is that means Kavis stays.

Big difference between the Bombers offensive approach in a tight game, and Khari's.

The Old Spice makes it's way here too. "I just wanted to have a body wash". Lol

Looks like Adams is figuring it out. At least in this game.

Anything is possible.

who is Montreal's D coordinator?

Done a good job.

hope I picked Montreal for the pickems.

can not remember.

Happy for Khari and Vernon Adams.

I still think it'll be really unlikely for Khari to succeed in Montreal (thanks Kavis Reed!) but maybe he gets an extended shot there and eventually somewhere else.

Been a fan of Vernon Adams since his college days and continually thought he was perfect for the CFL. Has a chance to be a really exciting QB still, so hopefully it works out now finally.
