Not perfect, but definitely a better effort.  Helle was real solid.

when I saw the effort in the first period, I knew we were going to win.  Not giving up 2 goals in the first few minutes of the game really improves your chances of winning.  

Good game - defence still sloppy for stretches but I guess that’s this team...

i want Lindholm here to play with Buff - Chevy make it happen!!

Solid effort. Helle was the reason we won tho. Our lhd is awful. Is it just like... Why not sit Morrow who is a gong show.. Try Buff with Niku. See what happens. Thats impossible tho. 

81 and 55 were very good. 26 might have got the winner but he was floating again in the D zone. Nice to see 55 wake up tho.. He hasn't been himself recently.. Entire Jets team since Jan 1 tho hasn't look great. This was a better overall effort tho.

Did Laine play in the 3rd? Someone said he was benched.

 

Top line really needed to bounce back after two awful games in Eastern Canada. They played well yesterday. Hellebuyck came up huge, too.

Still cause for concern, though.

Someone lied. Final 3 minutes only lowry and Scheifs line played

At least the effort was there, work hard like that every night and you can live with the losses. Still think we need another top 4 d-man and top 6 forward to go all the way. 

Too bad Buff wasn't a stay at home d-man his style of play is a defensive liability for anyone he is partnered with, bring back Toby to play with him.
