I don't know about massive, but it's certainly more than I'd feel comfortable paying him, especially for that long.

Unless he is of superstar status I find these types of contracts really weird and of little sense. See Lucic as a good recent example.It most always ends up by year two, three or four with 'what do we do with him now?' It seems the mentality is I have to sign him longterm to get the shorter term value out of him because some other team will ****** him up if I don't.

Roslo? Cuz smoke = fire. If hes not a center hes a replaceable winfer on a team stacked with them.

What off ice issues for Lowry? 

I don't think they move two centres and not Lowry. They would need another to step up and I don't think there's a shutdown centre on the Moose. 

Roslo wanted to play more. Can't fault him for that. He's learned a hard lesson this year and will be better for it next year (as a Jet).

Kahun will be an NHLer with the Pens next year. Played all 82 games with the Hawks last year.

Let's do like the Blues and focus on building a team all from one country.  If we add Poolparty and that Looney guy we just signed makes it we are only 15 players away from making that happen!  Maybe we can get Armia back while we are at it.  Maybe the Preds want to salary dump Rinne?
