What would be funny was if they played him in Pitts.

Goaltending got worse once Pavs arrived. The only thing that changed is the jets scored more. 

Need to post Winnipeg Jets season 2016 /17 under "random deaths notice"  section.

This may be the most disappointing season since the Jets returned.  Each step further from the Atlanta team seems to take these Jets down a notch.  At this rate they'll be 30th next season.  But really young though!

I choose to blame it all on the uncertainty of the expansion draft and Pav being sent down. 2020 Hockey News prediction is not gone yet.

The only time this team has played D was when their stars were injured and Pardy and the plugs led us on a winning streak by playing safe, basic defence.

New coach, one that will reel in all this free-wheeling, run-n-gun defence...  Trouba and Buff should not end up behind or in front of the other teams net all the time

Team took a big step back when they replaced Frolik with Burmi...  hopefully they learned from that mistake.

Pavs being sent down had nothing to do with since statistically he's the worse goalie of the three.

Yup. They better have learned from losing a player that didn't want to be here. They should have offered frolik $9 million a season.

There's never been any actual evidence that he didn't want to be here...  some say Walsh wanted five years and Chevy would only offer four, others say that Frolik didn't like being moved all over the lineup...  blah blah

Either way, when you lose a player like Frolik - never injured, defensively sound, great corsi... - you need to replace him with a player of equal talent.  Chevy did not do that.

If you want to pretend that Frolik's wife was only the reason he went to Calgary, sure go ahead...

If you want to believe the jets didn't want to keep frolik and decided to just let him go then sure go ahead. 

Don't know about Froliks wife no wanting to be her, its possible but i don't know that, but it was widely reported that money was the same but the Jets offer was a year short, really all water under the bridge this team has taken a step back this year, maybe even a couple.

Same exact record as this time last year.

Any one watching Hutch this season realizes he is our 3rd best goalie. He'll be lucky to play one more game this year. Now that's a stat!

Stats say Pavelec is the worst goalie in jets 2.0 history.  You have some fetish with crappy players. 

Can we just agree that both Pavs and Hutch are awful and are not part of the Jets future?  Who cares which is 'technically' worse.

Pretty much. They both suck. Only difference there is a minor possibility of hutch finding his game again in the A. Pavs is a lost cause

I'm going to predict that Hutch ends up having a good NHL career. he had some outstanding games for the Jets, I seem to remember he stoned the Blackhawks a few years ago, with a bunch of great saves. Something's gone wrong, but maybe some other team can help him get a second chance.

Well... when you think about it our young players have been our best ones and Little.  Wheeler is having a down year and so Is buff. Perreault and Stafford are useless
