October 29, 20169 yr I usually support the officials, but that may have been the worst call of the year. You knew they were kicking short, you should consciously be looking for it.

October 29, 20169 yr The penalty was not because the kick wasn't long enough. The penalty was for it going out of bounds. The League has said there shouldn't have been a flag but it certainly didn't affect the outcome of the game. It was Edmonton ball whether there had been a penalty or not. October 29, 20169 yr A coach has got to keep his composure in a situation like that. No need to make a bad situation even worse. I thought I saw Austin give Reinebold a sympathetic look afterwards... if anyone understands how it feels to flip out on refs, it would be Austin.

They needed the ball and his getting penalized wasn't going to hurt the Tabbies. He served notice to the refs to never screw the Cats over like that again. I think they got the message.
