Not much. Lipon is more of a enforcer type who could probably do what thorburn does... fight. De Leo is more skilled and also seems irrelevant but is a natural center who can play the wing. Versatility is key.

Only because of injuries. He brings nothing. Fighting isn't important at all anymore. Thorburn will be scratched when ppl are back. Keep in mind he was scratched in the opener and the heritage classic. Burmi... Thor are only playing or played due to injury and Thor 1 time due to stupidity where he only played 4 minutes

I think Nichols has shown that he's good enough. Do I want to Hand him the number 1 job? No. But... today Nichols had a great game and if our D stepped up instead of getting out of the way... matt Nichols would be off to the western final I don't think Nichols is a big concern. In terms of what we are lacking? A true legit MLB.... a guy that can stretch the field altho dressler is good at that he needs some help. Ian Wild did not have a good game. Neither did Bass. That BC TD near the end of the first half... man.. 5 plays but 2 runs for 77 yards.... I was like uh oh. But we got a 2 score lead still so I was feeling good. Thought that might come back to bite us tho but still... comfortable lead... The O just had to keep doing what they were doing and while the tds weren't there in the second half... the O was decent. Problem was BC wad shredding our D. I don't think scheme is necessarily an issue... I think the last 3 BC tds drive tho show that... Richie Hall.... he's decent but he got away from what was working. He went in to prevent way to early and ultimately our D broke. Bend but don't break.... they did that for the first half.... second half... very little pressure on Jennings and our D broke

I think you can give them most of the blame tho. They were crap. Bend but don't break... all season long were shredded but got turnovers to mask the amount of yardage they gave up.

Our O did enough to WIN. Our D let us down. That's how I see it. Started strong but didn't make the adjustments needed. Missed tackles. Wide open TDS. Just an ultra soft D.
