The Commentary made it drag even more than it did. It's interesting to me how they pretty much ignored talking about Laine. I also think the shootout was ruined. I'd rather see all of them not just 2 divisions... the only guy who seemingly tried to entertain was Brent Burns. Only guy who tried something different in the shootout. It almost seems like you aren't allowed to have personality in the Nhl. I get them hyping mcdavid and Crosby but man they lack personality. The Auston Matthews love affair from cbc/sportsnet was at times nauseating but not surprising. Again tho very little personality. I also think it's obvious that the guys don't try at all. I'll just add... I hate Ryan Kesler... he's such a ****** but the crowd booing and him blowing kisses... man the guy Is such a good heel.

No. I don't think so.

Probably be foolish to trade Myers until the Trouba situation is more known.

Game 52 : Lake Winnipeg @ Lake Michigan

You bring up pavelec like he's some sort of nhl rookie. When reality we all know he isn't good enough. You crap on helle cuz of 2 bad games but 6 years of bad pavelec. Good god man. But really... I'll stop talking about coaching when you pretend you don't know more than guys like Craig button. FFS. You just have to argue about everything. -
Where's the list of all your draft picks you made as an nhl gm? You don't have to like him or agree with him but when you start to question his drafting when you are just some random fan... man it makes you look like a fool. Like you honestly think you know more than Button? Dude has forgotten more about hockey than all of us on here know about hockey. The guy is an analyst with actual legit experience. He generally speaks the truth cuz he isn't afraid of big bad TNSE

His injury was worse than expected probably. Nhl Top 100 revealed Toews on it. P Kane. Duncan Keith. Ovi Crosby Jagr. Teemu. Hawerchuk and Malkin both screwed over.

Copp is a good bottom 6 player. He's not a guy I'd be protecting tho. If Vegas takes him... oh well. If not... that's fine but I feel people are basing this on his last couple games. He's a good player but he's not a top 6 player. So.. I'd leave him exposed. I mean Cmon.... how many bottom 6 players you wanna protect? Isn't Lowry and Armia enough? I'd protect Dano over Copp.

He's our only goalie with 1. A winning record. 2. A GAA under 3 and 3. A save percentage above 900. Maybe if we had capable backups... but we don't. Helle isn't the issue. Hutch and PaveSuck are -
Isn't Copp an RFA? Why protect him.

Right. 38 of 41 and you don't give him credit. FFS. I'm done talking goaltending Just an FYI 17 wins. 13 losses. Pav and Hutch combined have 1 less loss in about 15 fewer games. -
Probably because he actually worked as a GM in the league and isn't some random fan.

So Pavelec letting in his first shot against arizona is a confidence booster? What? This team has played like this before, even earlier in the season, it's nothing new, they just seem to be a bit more consistent right now, I'm sorry but the Jets got owned last night and won because our goalie was better than their goalie. That's what it comes down to, Chicago had 40 (41) shots, they dominated us, we had no business winning that game but found a way to win (but really, we are good vs the central so this shouldn't be some surprise). My issue and i think other peoples issues are... why can we beat the hawks or blues or OUR division but then the next game we play, we lose? It's happened before, it's nothing new, this team has proven nothing, it's proven it can beat a tanking team, a team playing the back up to the backup but then anaheim and san jose come to town and play their back ups and we lose, We beat Chicago playing their back up (he's having a good season tho). I see a team who has yet to prove that they can actually consistently play good, cuz for the most part they got owned last night and that sharks game, to an extent, the sharks were all over us, ducks owned us also, Jets put up a good fight those games but in the end, you knew they would lose. Until they win 3 in a row, they are exactly what they have been all year long. consistently inconsistent. -

Babcock and or McClellan makes a huge difference. You put Talbot or Anderson here with mo and 1980s techniques Flaherty and they aren't as good -

You'd be wrong. He was big boring and positional strong. Flaherty is ruining him. -

I think Flaherty is a problem. Helle was big and boring. Now he's not. Flaherty is messing with what worked -

Jets playing keystone cops in their D zone. Chicago has like 35 plus shots. They will have 50. How many do we have? 12? -

I was just browsing the stats and The Jets have 4 guys in the top 30 points wise (Scheif tied for 8th, Ehlers, Laine and Wheeler). Buff is on the list also, but not in the top 30 and is the 5th best point producing D man behind Burns, Karlsson,Hedman and Shattenkirk (1 more point than Buff). Helle has the exact same save percentage as Henrik Lundqvist, 907 which is below league average for sure but... 5 guys in the top 40 scoring and a goalie with the almost exact same GAA and exactly the same save percentage as a pretty damn good goalie and we are this bad? It's actually somewhat mind boggling... PP and PK really killing us it seems. D zone play also. Man, the Metro ran a nice article today about Maurice tho didn't it? anyone see it?
