If Winnipeg had a McDavid, people would sign here too Eventually you realize, Winnipeg can't compete with most nhl cities and overpaying not great Free agents hurts more than it helps. Sure but losing 2 starters is pretty tough. The fact there's stats saying our guys are getting hit in the backfield says it is partially an oline issue

Couture hurt. Desjarlais gone. Neufeld not practicing. Bryant not practicing. Essentially 2 starters from last years team aren't currently playing, if you don't think gray is a downgrade on drew and if you don't think kolankowski is a downgrade on couture, well... you're wrong.

Also playing a QB who doesn't run and is pretty much zero threat to run so no need for extra defensive ends

All good individual players but as a team, they are seriously legendary. Add some Oshea and yup... Best team of my lifetime and in the future likely known as the greatest bomber team(s) in history. What's crazy this year especially is no byes and 8 and 0 with 5 of those 8 on the road
