He has very little mobility currently it seems. Even less than last year. And I’ve noticed him staring guys down quite a bit already this season. All QBs do it, Brown did also a couple of times, Zach tho doing it more often than not. I don’t think you can say it’s rust anymore.

It might. Cuz Strev atleast has the ability to run away or escape the pressure or truck a dude, Zach certainly don’t.

I thought the DL in pre season was solid and that was with a ton of different guys. They were ok game 1 and looked better game 2 until the injuries hit. Aslong as you dress enough guys, I think we should be ok there. seriously way more concerned about the O. If they can’t move the ball it don’t matter who you dress on D, they gonna tire out regardless. They have been on the field lots the past 2 games. Most of that is because the O ain’t moving the ball. How many first downs do we even have.

I also think people might be disappointed in what we get in return for Ehlers. I don’t think he’s getting us a top 4 D man, it’s possible I guess, I didn’t think Dubois would get Vilardi Iafallo kupari and 2nd rd pick either tho so who knows but I feel they would be happy with a prospect D ready to make the jump and draft picks. reality is we got a ton of prospect forwards. Only really salo and ville on D. other option is Carolina for Necas straight up but don’t think so. Carolina likes Ehlers. I’m not sure Necas makes sense tho. He’s not really a center, he wants to be one but he’s not. im curious if Lindholm might be an option they go after if he doesn’t sign in Vancouver. Cuz sure sounds like Monahan going UFA. But if 3 of your top 6 are Perfetti Monahan and Vilardi and your other 3 are Connor Scheifele lambert. You have 3 very quick players and 3 very slow ones. Not sure that’s a recipe for playoff success.

I’m a big fan of the bucket hats. Those are by far the best hats. But honestly I don’t wear hats as much as I did when I was a teen or in my 20s. I dunno. Arniel names Dean Chynowath and Davis Payne assistants. dean ran the leafs pk last year and prior ran an aggressive Carolina pk that was ranked 2. payne was recently with Ottawa. Neufeld and kolo were being eaten alive against Ottawa. I thought Zach had more time against Montreal but even when Zach does have time he’s off, under throw or over throw or even a drop. He don’t look comfortable back there. Can’t blame him. I think the shots he took against Edmonton and maybe Hamilton was it? It broke him a bit. I liked Drew Willy, was a nice guy, probably still is but Zach Starting to look Drew Willy’d. It’s kind of a slower decline tho because I think definitely last year he had plenty of dud games. Brady didn’t so we won. I was in the keep dru brown and trade Zach camp. dru more of a spread the ball around guy. Zach more gunslinger mentality. It’s unfortunate we kept Montana over Steve Young. lol. it’s a good comparison at that point in Joe and Zachs careers. The younger dude. hopefully they figure it out. OL a massive problem. If if if they airlift some younger talent in and make those shouldn’t be hard to make decisions on a few vets, I think the season is salvageable. If not, i think we could be picking 1st overall so might take a look at the top prospects soon.

I think you could really send a message tho by cutting Neufeld and BA. 2 guys. Prob all it takes. Bighill and Kyrie should go also but start with neufeld and BA who are cooked like casey rocket. Same with our punter. There’s tons of global kickers around or let Castillo do all 3 and get Fabian Weitz, solid special teams global on the roster. Our special teams suck so maybe let the starters play instead of dressing the cadawalladers of the world.
