Dillon is going UFA and won’t be back. Why does it matter what we do with these 2 first anyways. Schmidt making 6 million was press boxed last year most the season. It’s a bad contract for a bad player. I like how some of you think bringing back the same old D group is the solution tho when it’s clearly not. Demelo and Dillon will both be overpaid by someone. Demelo maybe by the jets but Dillon is done here. They have had zero contract talks with him. He’s 33 ffs.

Hmm perhaps I having been playing the role of devils advocate. the reality appears to be that the guys who struggled outside of Mitchell and Ford, were indeed the veterans who didn’t really participate in camp very much. Zach, I’m not sure it’s an excuse for the veteran QB tho. Brady? Appears banged up still. Demski? The same. Those 2 you can excuse a bit but if they ain’t healthy then that’s on the coaches for playing them. Schoen even struggled. There’s another in the no camp needed group. Lawler getting hurt kinda early probably played a minor role. Thought Zach got time to throw so OL outside of a couple early whiffs were ok it seemed. I dunno watching on tv I could see Zach staring receivers down, not really looking anywhere else, he’s not a check down QB either so…. When your QB is that bad, is it fair to judge the others? this is what ppl were saying in pre season also just playing Wilson basically. How do you evaluate the group when one guys struggling so much. But Zach had more time to throw than Wilson did in pre season. I dunno. Does Zach the veteran QB need more reps?? It appears he does but he also looked like this a few games last season also. There’s gotta be some concern there.

1. Toronto - top to bottom they looked the best. I’ll take Cameron Dukes as a starter 2. Montreal - say what you want but they owned us 3. Calgary - was quite impressed with the Calgary play calling. Maier looked like Matt nichols dinking and dunking. Not exciting but efficient and effective 4. Sask - kinda default. Having to come back to win puts them 4th 5. BC - not sure VAJ lasts the season not impressed with their D at all. Duck n chuck isn’t sustainable 6. Edmonton - they looked ok for 3 quarters really 7. Hamilton - just never really in it against Calgary I do not believe in BLM 8. Bombers - the D was probably better than BC EDM Hamilton and maybe even Sask but they got zero help from the O and sp teams including Sergio Garcia Castillo NR Ottawa.

Our O looked bad. The D looked decent. If the O did anything we prob would have won but they did nothing.

I don’t buy this. Zach looked like a rookie. I don’t think playing 5 minutes a week earlier would have mattered at all. I’d buy it if Zach was a fresh faced rookie but he’s not.
