Saw it last season, the Safety is no longer run stopping 5 yds. off the line, and the MLB isn't attempting to cover fleet receivers 40 yds down field, as Bighill often did. This allows more traditional athletes to play those positions, no great need for a thumper at Safety or a super mobile MLB that can run a 4.6/40. By limiting the scope of duties, more candidates qualify.

No doubt they're going to have to cut some excellent players on both sides of the ball that don't deserve to be cut and maybe a few vets to continue moving forward in the direction they have to go to remain competitive with other teams now and in the future. There should be a number of surprises.
