Yeah I agree you can like or hate Taman but he never would throw CC under the bus like that,let him hang in the wind.Always was a class act imo.
I find it hard to believe that Taman wants this change now, most likely coming from higher up.How can Taman wait a week now? He has to do it this weekend as it's public knowledge. As much as I don't like CC, what Taman is doing is such a backstabbing move..

You know that's kinda funny because on the Rider Forum it's 50-50 on Smith.Some are calling him a wash some saying they see something in him. Reminds me of all the years we debated Elliot ,Brink et AL. But the similarities when it comes to seeing the potential or not in a young Qb seems to be exactly the same with all fans.How do these other teams find a QB, there is Three new ones this year, the latest is Sask QB Smith.
I know they lost but he looked like he has potential.

Well not to sound like a ****** but this kinda is his first time being around after a win lolMore referring to those with less than 100 posts who only post after a loss and disappear after a win. Just wait until we lose again. You'll see the ones I mean.

Reading the forums they are picking apart Smith and pinning for Willy.Kinda 50-50 whether they think Smith can be good or not.Good to see the Riders feeling our pain of the past in not having a quality Qb.

Don't get me wrong here, go bombers and all but.... man, i'd love to see what some people would say if Marve went in there and sucked really badly.
What would be the excuses? oh and i hope it's like plus 25 to plus 30 with no wind and no weather issues at all, i hope it's next game and i hope it's because BROHM gets hurt and is done for the season...
But if i could be serious for a moment, Has brohm fully healed from his thumb injury? Could that be part of the problem this year cuz.. he wasn't as awful last year. He wasn't exactly lighting it up when he got his shots last year but.. he wasn't as awful as he has been this year either.

Yep that is what it looks like ,and sounds like but hopefully we don't find out.Its that the coaching staff appears to have both anointed and sustained Brohm as the #2...despite him accomplishing next to nothing, as a Bomber......that has some of our teeth on edge. Not some pseudo conspiracy....

I guess I will have to quote Sinatra on this.People believe what they want to believe, no where is that more obvious than in this thread. Hopefully Willy plays and we don't have to find out whether MOS would stick with Brohm the whole game no matter what.

"Robert Marve hasn’t been able to take reps for the last two weeks," said O’Shea.
It's Wiecek's interpretation/summation of what O'Shea actually said, which was that Marve hasn't been able to take reps for 2 weeks.
O'Shea said this on the coach's show last night too.

What's laughable is you always taking a personal affront to any critical comment about the state of the Blue Bombers.The reporter stated it as a direct quote so that's how it is. You don't agree fine leave it at that.
Exactly.. How people can misconstrue that line to imply marve is pigeon holed and destined to rot is laughable..So basically not a direct quote and essentially all he's really saying is that Marve isn't healthy enough right now to get enough work in on a short week for him to start.
Much ado about nothing.

Field is still wet, balls are still slick.. It's not like the humidity and moisture just disappears.Ok. Seriously, I know you wanna hang brohm but 2 of those picks were on the receiver almost as much of not more so then on brohm.
Not making excuses for the guy because he HAS been atrocious. His accuracy is brutal but I hope that was due to conditions and not just because be blows that badly. He seems to be a QB who needs a game or two to find a rhythm.
Conditions had dissipated by the time Brohm entered the game, so yes he does blow that badly.

Listen Brohm will be fine didn't you hear he is gonna work on his accuracy. It's tough to tell where the dirt ends and the receiver or dB begins.....

But that would get Mb out as OC! I am positive that if MOS sticks with Brohm the next game and he stinks the joint out again that I will be a wonderin agin why oh why?MB will call a good half every now and then but for the most part I think the O is set up to fail with him in charge. People talk about fire O'shea. Nope can't do that cuz then MB probably becomes coach. Need to get rid of MB and bring in a guy with just a little bit of creativity. I think some of out O players are not being used properly and that's a big issue. Send MB packing. Give Buck and even Howell a chance cuz what MB is doing isn't working. With that said does kind of remind me of the Jets start to the season last year. Owned Arizona and looked real good then kind of went on a little bit of a skid but ya nhl season much longer.
