He's going to switch to a 3-4 defence and Oshea will claim problem solved, no need for changes. That's a decent point. I hope you're wrong though but I could see you being right.

Etch needs to go. It's that simple.

Interesting Article about rookies vs vets

Joe Mack is dancing/drinking it up in the Congo line at an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. He doesn't give a rats ass what damage he did here to the Bombers. Doubt we ever hear from him again. -
So I just watched O'Shea's presser today and he confirmed Swiston won't be back with the Bombers next season.
-
January sucks. Glad to see Daniels still in there at RT.
-
Pretty sure the 0-8 with Neufeld out of the lineup has a lot to DL with other factors than just Neufeld.

Are you two dating now?

Did you two have a sleepover?

Swiston would have been a first round draft pick if not for his injury issues. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back next year.
-
Maybe a chance he's back next season.
-
Concussion.
-
Seems like odd timing. Keep him around all year, pay him but not play him, then release him at end of the year?? Weird.

@Wpg_BlueBombers: #Bombers have released Paul Swiston from the practice roster.

we gave up more than just a 2nd round pick. We also gave up a player who was one of the best at his positions who helped the Riders win the Grey Cup. People need to stop pretending that Hall had 0 value and shouldn't be counted as part of the trade. We gave up a star player AND a 2nd round pick to get an injury prone OL. That trade stank from day 1. Could have used those assets to get something more worthwhile. I look at the trade as: Neufeld for 2nd rounder 4th rounder for Hall that's a pretty silly way to look at it. it was Neufeld and a 4th for Hall and a 2nd. We gave up the better player and the better draft pick in the trade. Now sure the contract lengths come into play and maybe shift the value to Neufeld over Hall, but the fact that he's injury prone sure doesn't help. Some people just get such raging hard ons over trades they have to tell themselves it was a good trade no matter what. Walters has been pretty iffy in trades. He over pays to get what he wants and that can damage you long term if it becomes a trend. Hall may be the better player but Neufeld had MUCH more value to the Bombers.

Bombers add Cam Marshall and Deantre Harlan to PR

Any chance we see him in game action this season? -
This is true.

People said that same about Charles Roberts until he fell off a cliff...at age 30. Happens to most RBs. I'll give Cornish one more year in the league after this season until he's done. He's already showing signs that his body is falling apart.

When healthy, Neufeld is a legit starting Canadian OL. He started almost every game for the Riders a couple years ago. I still think giving up the 2nd rounder for him was worth it. We need to be patient with him. Worst case is he's our 6th OL which still has value. I'm hoping the Bombers put him on an offseason training regimen so he comes to camp with a higher fitness level next TC.

That says everything you need to know about how teams feel about the Riders without Durant "we can beat them with our backups" Cornish is just that real good mix of speed and power. He's big and strong and has good enough balance he can run through tackles but he's also fast enough to break some big runs if he gets a hole. If you can draw up the kind of running back every team wants to have that's the guy there. The fact he is Canadian is such a bonus as well..He's 30 years old though. Only has a year or so left before he falls off a cliff and is out of the league. Signs of him already falling apart. That's an incredibly bold prediction. I bet he plays until he's 33 at least. There's always exceptions but age 30 is the magic number when most RBs fall off a cliff.

Durant on cusp of return to Riders lineup!
gbill2004 replied to Migs's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Pretty easy to look through the fence in the NE corner of stadium. So you are confirming that you looked through a corner of the stadium? Did you do that? When I was younger, I used to go visit a cousin in Regina in the summer and he lived close to Taylor Field. (Everything in Regina is close to Taylor Field) and we used to sneak over to the stadium and peer through the fence while the team practices. Know what we saw? Nothing but the occasional glimpse of a player. From that vantage point you can literally see nothing. I call BS on Migs latest pipe dream here. The whole looking through the fence thing is just a giant backpedal because he got caught in an outright lie because he forgot practices are closed.Actually you are dead wrong, you can see everythjng. And Chamblin confirmed to the media after practice that Durant was throwing today. Must've just been a wild guess on my part hey. I tend to believe migs. With the way the new end zones are set up, after the refurb for the Grey Cup it's pretty open. I was there for the LDC this past year. -

Durant's balls hitting your chin with more force this week? That's good to hear. Tell us more. We really appreciate everything you do around here.Keep bringing the homophobic jokes. I'm here to talk football, thanks for showing us why you're here. You do know what homophobic means right? It's the fear or negative attitude towards homosexuality. Brice's post doesn't imply either. He's just implying that you're enjoying your time with Durant balls. He even states that it's good to hear. Can I play with Durant's balls too? I guess so -- that way Migs can start playing with Joseph's balls -- then they'll have a full blown QB controversy. Who's playing with Sunseri's balls now days? He might be feeling left out. -
