Nope I give Latvia some credit. They came in with a game plan, neutralized the middle, sticks and bodies in the shooting lanes, made good on their few offensive chances on the PP, got great goaltending, never gave up resulting in a win.

Great game plan and well executed by the Latvians. Canada had no real answer. They were celebrating like they won the tournament, which in a way this was their superbowl win. Imagine if they could now knock off the Americans. Wow. Don’t see it happening but also didn’t see them beating Canada.

Yup, he just seems so easy to scheme against as an offense where 80% - 90% of the time he’s being effectively neutralized but all the attention is on the 10% - 20% where he’s sacking the qb.

Sure but just from an elite athlete perspective, from an Olineman to a scat back and everything in-between, there are some (but not all) consistencies in what science is telling them to put into their bodies to help with performance.

Being outshot doesn't necessarily mean bad. It's where the shots are coming from is the important part. And if the analytics are suggesting the Jets are giving up way too many high quality opportunities for their opponents, then yes adjustments, additions are needed stat. Imagine having Helle and a lock down D, defensive scheme in place? Success.

The low scores across the board sans Hamilton on nutrition and diet fascinate me being that these men are professional athletes. Is this a cost issue?

Jets looked lost at times in the third, seemed like little structure. Lost a lot of stick and board battles. Helle played on top of his game. Had PL’s number. A win is win. Take it move on.
