  1. Thanks for the sports update Mike, let's head over to Heather on what's up for the weather this weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. Excerpt taken from Steve Lambert Canadian Press quoting Wab Kinew: "It'll be really good for the documentary they make about the Winnipeg Jets winning the Stanley Cup." Now ain't that the truth ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. I wonder what Darrell Patterson says when breaking down the work of our D-line after four games behind office doors.
  4. I was much more diplomatic than you in me calling him our number one freelancer but hammer meet head on your post here.
  5. So true, that has not changed. Not controlling the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball = be ready to take the L. One line of scrimmage controlled = we have ourselves a game. Both lines of scrimmage controlled = high fives all around.
  6. Fair. All the best.
  7. My untrained eye would put WJ as our number one freelancer that can be frustrating at times to watch when it comes to DEโ€™s responsibilities. And yes he does get mugged a fair amount but that seems to be the advantage refs are giving the offence these days, holding penalties seem to be called less frequently.
  8. Yup that was my point with the question because maybe Iโ€™m missing something cuz all I see, like you, is no push every rep 99 percent of the time. I just feel weโ€™re disrespecting the importance of this position as a throw away so someone can keep playing the game they love playing and has given so much back to the game but in truth those days are over, new chapter time. Depth has to produce as well.
  9. The lower his reps go translates in him being effective at nose tackle?
  10. '..maybe the play ran into him and he got credit.' Yikes. You know you're in trouble when (see bold above).
  11. I'd add the ole 'we're not going to win every game'. ๐Ÿ™‚
  12. Regardless, its going to be a void we now need to fill.
  13. So in the end, from a forward looking lens, we got nada in return for him. Was it the right move by Chevy attempting to make him a Jet for life but ultimately failing and getting nothing in return for his troubles? Again from a forward looking lens did what he do here for the past 6 years trump (sorry) us getting nothing in return in him leaving?
  14. Congrats. Enjoy the extra millions. Thanks for the years of entertainment. Ehlers who?
  15. JT gets to go out on his own terms = get use to playing like thereโ€™s 11 players on the field during his reps.
  16. Well way to jinx it for us. I new the Riders were useless. Love you.
  17. Completely biased and unapologetic, being a Jet for life making gobs and gobs of money playing a game you love but maybe not making as much gobs and gobs and gobs of money elsewhere, being admired, remembered and enshrined forever in Jet history is a pretty sweet deal not taken. Enjoy the extra millions my friend.
  18. The sound track of reservoir dogs is outstanding. MM's character was well played by him.
  19. Don't forget the ole goto shoulder shrug to give off the vibe implying 'look everyone I'm a warrior playing through basically a separated shoulder here' that will miraculously heal after the game. ๐Ÿ™‚
  20. If you can present some pretty consistent adversity to VAJ where it's not all puppy dogs, lollipops and unicorns for him, it's been my observation that he usually has a difficult time working his way out of it.
  21. As much as I diss and loathe other teams especially the Argo's and Riders who deserve it ๐Ÿ™‚ (c'mon they do), I'm ultimately here for the CFL and I'm genuinely concerned for our league if I'm being serious. I don't take myself seriously but I take the health of our great league very seriously.
  22. What some don't realize is you can have both, i.e., trust, love, admiration, appreciation and loyalty to this 'trinity' but still question some of their decisions. Calling out the good and the bad is okay as long as the pendulum doesn't consistently swing too far at each end.
  23. For the sake of the leagues health, I hope so.
  24. For f sake I'm agreeing with you on the argoโ€™s having the balls and onions to make the tough decisions that helped win them the cup. Paying the Argos a compliment in any fashion or form is not an easy thing to do. We will never know if it would have resulted in us ultimately winning the cup but it doesnโ€™t matter, the correct decision to put the team in the best possible situation to succeed was to sit ZC after hurting his hand. Full stop as some would say.
  25. MOS commenting on how AB deserves to go out on his own terms tells me once again the reasons why MOS continues to trot out JT.
