  1. That won't help your cause.
  2. Not necessarily, to a certain degree, disagreeing with you, but for me personally I wouldn't want to shut down good fan rivalry discussions/taunts/trash talking etc. I don't care what the Rider Site does in how they administer their site. All I care about is we don't tolerate posts that are meant to truly hurt demean. I was thinking the other day of starting a topic in the general discussion about what people here think about posting their real names. I think that would help diminish the absurd posts but I do recognize the risk about the crazies getting hold of our real names and doing their crazy things. It would an interesting discussion to have though and read different perspectives in this.
  3. Premier DT outside of QB sacks would include: gap excellent, doesn't cheat, disciplined in playing the system, runstop master, constantly double teamed opening up other lanes, great at stunts, great fitness, leader in pass knock downs, forces/recovers fumbles, can play any where on the line, has mastered many DT moves, difficult to block, coachable, team first attitude, great community member etc
  4. No no no. Believe, have faith in the process or whatever the he** Brandon Bridge twittered out.
  5. Weird, I get that a lot.
  6. You're right, it will vary from player to player. But if you look at things longitudinal, controlling for certain variables (e.g., age and number of games played), you'll see trends that would help one determine the characteristics of what a veteran means. Not perfect, but something to help us understand the differences between a rookie and a vet.
  7. Interesting, that's what Pavelec said about Noel. Confirmation that waiving him was the necessary thing to do. Good luck Dave Tippett.
  8. Not in the sense of useful experience, developed talent, demonstrated maturity, honed leadership, etc.
  9. It also seems that the shooters are becoming so much more accurate. Goaltender coaching seems to have forgotten there is a top half to the net.
  10. Hutch and Helle are thinking, 'yea thanks, you score 6 goals for him, where's my goal support?'
  11. Yup, the hidden job market.
  12. Realistically, not yet. But soon, if we continue on the same path we've traveled the first half of the season.
  13. 29 other teams would take him in a heart beat. Yes, he's faltered of late, but no, you don't trade him. You show some patience. He will step it back up.
  14. The season is not a write-off, yet. It will be soon if this continues but again, not yet. They can still go on a roll and get themselves back into it.
  15. You're comparing Michael Bishop to Travis Lulay? If so, I think not.
  16. No idea? For the answers, look back to when sport was invented.
  17. I thought the LA OT goal was saveable if he just stands his ground upright but I'm not a Goalie expert. It just seems both our goalies go down so quick giving the top half of the net too frequent.
  18. When you're emotionally invested in the Jets like a lot of us are, they are such an entertaining and maddening team to watch. Just when you think they have figured it out, bam. If Joel Armia continues like he is, he is going to be a really good hockey player for us. I'm thinking Bryan Little must be playing hurt. He's not himself since coming back.
