My guess, and it's purely a guess, is money won't be his number one closure. He's going to get a boat load of money no matter the team. Level of existing talent, locker room dynamics, how much challenge he wants to take on, having a huge say/influence in changes needed, autonomy to assemble his coaching staff and how he will coach and family input will drive where he goes.

Fair enough but it don’t matter to me how many teams are in a league. My loyalties have never changed and stay with one team per league. But hey different strokes for different folks. At least both of us greatly detest the Leafs.

McDavid is the best player on the planet by far regardless of Toronto’s media suggesting Matthews is in the same conversation.. A lot of us here are hardcore Jet fans built at a very young age. We don’t cheer for two teams regardless where we happened to relocate years later. It’s frustrating the Oilers were rewarded for years of losing after they dominated in the 80’s. And yes if the shoe was on the other foot I would not be apologizing to anyone if the Jets were rewarded with McDavid for sucking. But hey here we are.

Move on from hating the Oilers? Why? This line of thinking then would suggest it’s time to move on from you’re team you’ve cheered for for forty years because they haven’t won enough.

Ironically he and ilk like him use their consistently bad and often illegal behaviour to their advantage as is in ‘another hit job people, I told you this would happen but it won’t stop me, I will fight for you until my last breath’, and people with a very narrow view on this world lap this up like thirsty dogs while parting with their money and sanity. Oh and all while Garland and crew stand on the sidelines suggesting to the populace that no one is above the law.

This is pretty serious stuff but I’ll wait until after and report it in a book I’ll write.

Not singling you out, I'm just suggesting we're sometimes focused on the wrong thing, i.e., spend less time and energy on constantly exposing these lies and more on what the consequences of all these lies should be. I don't know why you would throw this (the second bolded part). Of course this is the purpose of a place like this, I'm just suggesting to evolve the discussion beyond exposing everyone's lies and their misleading info and to focus more on discussing what we need to do about it. But at the end of the day this is a discussion forum and people can choose to discuss what they want.

That's what I don't agree with. They have indeed been exposed everywhere where you look on social media, the links you provided and numerous other links if one so chooses to access them on the world wide web. All sides are being presented with numerous links and sources valid or not and its being used to distract away from consequences. It's not like you have a hidden source that isn't accessible for others. As for proposing what needs to be done, this is where the Justice system has failed us miserably and needs to be held more accountable. Completely overhaul the justice system to bring it back to Justice is blind. I know I'm being naïve not easy task but has to be done to help change course on the path we are in now. First step, reverse all rulings and do not allow news outlets like Fox News, CNN, NewsMax, MSNBC etc etc to get away with the crap they get a way with to make a buck. If they present/imply themselves as a news outlet, do not let let squirm out of their accountability and split hairs by claiming to be an entertainment industry. Hit them in the pocket book for spreading lie/misinformation. At the ground floor treat each lie separately. For example, penalize Joe Rogan for spreading lies/misinformation thru punitive damages. Then move on to any industry that has misconstrued what Joe Rogan has done to push their own agenda and hit them with punitive damages. Hit them all in the pocket book where it hurts because ultimately that's what drives the show.
