Thus far, we’re still in ideal position for a three-peat. it’s been a nice feeling we continue to enjoy over the past 2 plus years that after a stinker like Hamilton, it’s still all good. Check back with that feeling if we lose the next 3 or 4.

Optimistically maybe short term all this drama with certain individual players, this lead by committee approach and status quo on improving our talent will be a good thing i.e., players wanting to catch the attention of other teams and the team they currently play for with their on-ice off-ice production will result in at least get us into the playoffs this coming season.. Or We will royally suck this year.

I don't know if I would use the word sucked but I think your statement here is closer to the truth of why the change was made. Maybe the first third of the season is an audition to determine a permanent C and A's.

I thought as well when an appeal is submitted on a ruling it goes to a different judge?

She is a perfect example of what's wrong with the Judiciary System and Garland is the first one to defend and protect it. He's just as guilty but in a different way.

I think you make a really good point here. A guy like Rourke steps on the field and automatically delivers probably setting a standard, whether consciously or less consciously for other newer QB's in the league to deliver at his pace shortening the patience given/needed.

I guess maybe there is a plan in place, trust the process, stay the course, blah blah blah. I'm not a big fan of Chris Jones but would like the Elks to get better to help the CFL as a whole. My goodness I just stepped out of my BB hardened position. Feels weird. 🙂
