  1. Sooooo....you're conceding the game?
  2. 😪 Soooo.....you're conceding the game?
  3. Watching a game of checkers at a nursing home would be more exciting than last night's game.
  4. Despite my disappointment at the Rider win, I am not going to get my dainty underthings all bunched up. Hamilton played flat and matched the Riders for ineptitude, but the Riders were only a bit less terrible, and so won. The lesson: even a blind squirrel will find the odd acorn. Still no reason for joy in Pile O' Bones.
  5. Praise the Lawd!! Hallelujah!!
  6. You're showing your age- its e-transfers now.
  7. Thought it was 10 two and outs.
  8. Fixed that for you.
  9. To use a metaphor, if you were the GM of an organization and you had a national sales manager who hired three dud regional sales mangers in a row, keeping the last one for going three years despite an abysmal sales record each year, what would you do with that national sales manager?
  10. The Riders ought to just chance their names to "F-Troop" and get it over with.
  11. The Bombers better not take Wally and the Lions lightly. Occasionally Jennings gets his poop together and looks like world-beater, and Saturday might be that date.
  12. That might have changed the score but not the outcome.
  13. Some here may be missing the point. If it comes down to the GM or board seeing that Hall is irreparably inept and O'Shea does not want or is unable to make the necessary changes, then to has to mean that they have lost confidence in O'Shea. I suggest that this would mean O'Shea is a dead man walking.
  14. Any other news from the supplemental draft?
  15. Jones has very few supporters there at the moment and the language the posters are using to describe him are the same as the postings in this forum. How have the mighty fallen.
  16. Who would that be? Can't find any info.
  17. All you need do is find a website of cliches by losing coaches and you will have the O'Shea-Hall commentary. "I thought the guys played hard". " the breaks didn't go our way today", "we need to forget about this game and prepare for the next one" etc etc...
  18. The reasons are stated above. Walters and O'Shea have to be approaching the point where Miller and the board have compare the results with those of other regimes that have rebuilt and won- Ottawa, Toronto and Hamilton are prime examples. So far this team has won no playoffs games since they arrived and are long overdue. Patience is fine, but the bottom lin is the bottom line.
  19. I suspect that you are way wrong on this one. The pressure will be on Walters if this team misses the payoffs again, perhaps even if they make the playoffs but fail to advance. There are just too many examples of teams turning around in one or two years, let alone five years. Poop doesn't always roll just downhill. I don't think that Miller will let this sort of thng go on for much longer. If Miller and/or Walters has to deliver an ultimatum to O'Shea about Hall, the gallows is already being built.
  20. I am also concerned that if the players give up on Hall, they also have to know that O'Shea does not have the grit to replace him, and O'Shea will also lose his credibility. Then we are in free-fall. The bottom line: O'Shea and company have had several years now after admittedly walking into a dressing room and organization in disarray, but so far the playoff wins are zero. Yes, the players are paid to play, but when are they going to come to the conclusion that the Grey Cup isn't coming their way any time soon.
  21. We knew that the offence under Streveler was going to struggle in some games, but we were led to believe that the invigorated defence would be better than last year, specifically with the deletion of Hurl and the addition of Bighill. They lied.
  22. Willy must have a big life insurance policy with the Alouettes as the beneficiaries.
  23. I'm curious- are there still any Hall defenders willing to step forward at this point. or are we unanimous?
  24. If O'Shea has to be ordered to can an obviously incompetent assistant coach, then that says that O'Shea does not have what it takes to be a head coach. so, this will be a measure of the man.
