Pregame talk: Bombing the Hammer
I wouldn't be upset if they scratched Walker and let Whitehead and Demski handle the returns. Peterman could probably return punts too. Get Matthews into some offensive plays, work him back into the lineup.

Some Truth to the Rumour
He really hasn't pulled a Bowman though. Bowman was healthy and did nothing. Matthews just hasn't been able to get healthy yet. Having a big receiver like him will come in handy when the weather gets colder.

Ottawa Redblacks In Town Part 2
Ya, gonna call BS on him being a healthy scratch. It's not like Lawler was great in his place. Matthews said he was good to go, but players always say that. I'm sure Bighill would have said that too the last couple weeks.

2019 CFL Season: Around the League
Not sure if he's better, but he certainly can be explosive.

Bombers vs Smoked Argos Coming to 'Peg
Likely Bighill or Temple as the scratch depending on Bighill's health.

QB Accuracy Rankings
He's right there with the other starters. Can definitely be better but his accuracy in OTT wasn't an issue. Weird that Strevler is being pumped up on that link. Did he even attempt a pass further than 10 yards downfield?

GDT: Edmonton @ Winnipeg June 27, 2019
Exactly. They gave up over 300 yards passing, but on 54(!) attempts.

Not a great but a W is a W. Bodes well for the rest of the season when they can have that many mistakes ans still win. If you had told me that Harris would have 30 yards rushing and 2 fumbles, Woli, Adams, and Matthews would have a combined 16 yards receiving and we would lose the turnover battle (before the last two on downs for the Esks), I'd have said no way we win. The fact that they win a game like that, against a decent team, without scoring on D or teams shows that they are legit.

Blue Bomber Mount Rushmore (let's try this again edition)
Grant, Ploen, Stegall for all the reasons posted above. Went with Cameron for the 4th pick based on how long he played with the blue.

Around the League: 2019 Off Season
Nothing. This already happens all the time.

Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
Pretty sure that was all speculation. We really have no idea what their cap looks like.

Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
This year's Bighill signing. Exactly the type of receiver we need to compliment the others.

Free Agent Frenzy
Ya it's disappointing how the receiver plan has worked out so far. Sounds like Walters tried but nothing worked out. I feel the same way I did last year when we missed out on all the MLBs in FA, but hey that worked out in the end.

Free Agent Frenzy
Options are getting thin now if Matthews is looking NFL. Arceneaux and hope one of the guys trying down south shakes loose?
-
Free Agent Frenzy
As much as it would be great to get an elite receiver, getting a couple of the second tier guys would be great to take the pressure off Adams and open up some more space. Any of Roosevelt, Matthews, Holley, Arceneaux would be help.

Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
Sounds like it is. Not 100% until he's signed elsewhere I suppose.

Bomber News: 2019 Off Season
Sucks to lose Chungh and JSK, but if we're going to lose star players, losing a guard and WIL LB isn't so bad. Two of the easier positions to replace.

Free Agent Frenzy
Let's hope Harris stays in OTT and Bo goes to TO. Time for a little more parity between the east and west.

Looks like Williams could be a good find

Needs for next year
- This Regime
I remember the years of blowing up the team management every few years and resetting. After the last 3 years I'm all for giving Walters and O'Shea more time. As disappointing as the loss in Calgary was, we were still a few plays away from a Grey Cup appearance.- Needs for next year
Exactly. We never attacked the defense. What happened to all the creative plays we practiced? We bring a quick kick returner on to the roster and start him at received and then don't run any plays to get the ball in his hands? The whole game felt like pound it with Harris on 1st down for 5-6 yards. Have all the receivers run 5 yards and turn around on 2nd.- Needs for next year
Agree, he's a good guys to have on the roster, just don't love him starting at CB.- Needs for next year
I wouldn't be upset if we replaced Fogg too.- Needs for next year
Assuming we re-sign our key FAs (Bighill, O-line, Harris), what do you see as our biggest needs for improvement next year? Two of the biggest for me are: - Big time slotback that can go up and get it. Adams is a good weapon at WR but we need someone that can play inside. Love Dressler, but he's getting up there in age and shouldn't be the go to guy anymore. - Return game - blocking and returner. Nelson looks like a keeper but I don't know what's up with our blocking. No one has had a chance back there. - This Regime
