I’m not going to blame Streveler for lack of the passing game, he still needs work. I’m just sick and tired of seeing other teams have at least a competent downfield passing game and Bombers just struggle the last 2 years at or near the bottom of the league in that department.

Maybe, eventually. Right now he has some catching up to do.

Both Fajardo and Adams bounced around the league for a couple of years before they developed into starters. I’m not sure why we would expect Streveler to develop faster.

I just think where the Bombers could be without those stupid loses to Toronto and Montreal.

Did you actually see some of his receptions? I can think of at least two where he was stationary when he caught the pass and a Rider defender was on top him right away. he had zero time to head up field much less break a tackle. I realize it’s your opinion but it’s clearly uninformed and biased.

I certainly see Evans, Roosevelt and Williams-Lambert as better than him. Makes the decision to cut Mathews more damaging.

I finally have settled down enough to post now, but man, what an inexcusable collapse. Both co-ordinators deserve all the vitriol they are getting but to be fair the bomber D had tonnes of missed assignments. Plenty of Als receivers were plain old ignored in coverage.

I think the Ticats have something good in Evans. He still needs some development through experience but potential is there. Makes mistakes that young QBs make (I.e. his INT), but he sure has the confidence to overcome it.

For me the whole game changed on the sequence where Bray dropped a pass when he was wide open and then Bede fumbled the snap on the subsequent punt. Big change in momentum there.
