I just think Chungh wants to see what he's worth on open market Now with Burnham signing there for 200kish..Reilly possibly 700k..Soli already at 200+K there cant be a lot left..especially if they want to sign Awe and or Lokombo..as well as extend Lulay to back up..so be hard to be outbid for Chungh and if we are..I would gladly welcome Awe or Lokombo..or TJ Lee who also needs a deal..pieces are gonna shake free there..Posey as well

Still tho..I doubt by not enough to have your team basically paying 800..850k for a starter and backup and still able to pay huge bucks for 3 or 4 others and still be able to fill out your roster effectively

If Reilly signs right away on Tuesday.. for the reported amount..then Harris and BLM will be raking 2 teams over the coals for 600k at least with 4 or 5 teams squabbling over them..totally throwing their SMS out of whack

I dont see how new G.M..new H.C..new D.C..new D.B coach is a march to continuity just because they promoted guys. If anything it's called settling or reserving yourself to the fact that you couldn't improve your staff. Factor in possibly a new QB one of which is 99 percent again going to be settling for scraps..I dont see a whole lot of progression/positive things there. Now if they resign Collaros..well theres some continuity..but continuity from the scraps they were forced to settle with last year

American audience wont buy into it..or accept it..for all the good ideas they had...these ones will hurt their product

I highly doubt it...he was actually for the first few games just getting back to the CFL style he needed...I bet he has a better year this and next and at worst the same type of season

It's not like we are letting him walk...he is obviously thinking on open market his value will be more...so we will all find out...it may be that the most he will find is 10-15 k more than what we offered and we match and all is good...but to throw a buttload of money at him before any other offers become apparent is foolish...and to mismanage your SMS in that way will reverberate through the roster elsewhere... his position isn't a super hard one to fill....and Bighill in no way will be slipping off after this year..I bet he has several other good ones after this deal left in him barring any catastrophic injury

Yes he is good...would like him back...but like others said...not un-replaceable..and in Play-offs Wilson did just fine there..and if it came down to him as the incumbent..with more reps..and playing with Biggie...I'm not too worried And if we can poach one of Lokombo..Ackie..better for the ratio...even if we don't need it...then can sub guys in freely at linebacker

My take from what I heard is I bet Chungh and Bombers will agree to something at the 11th hour....I will say now we moved on from Loffler and fill his spot at a lesser amount, also think that JSK will be back once he see's the market and most likely won't get this year what he thinks he should..especially as teams will be holding off on big money until the QB's are signed He also alluded to what I assumed is that they know what dollar value they have to play with and will target what they want...and guys will know to take a nice deal as the money may not be there when all the dominoes fall...so I'm not to concerned that we are going to be in a bad spot..Sucks about Corney but oh well. We ink Chungh...and bigtime receiver and a possibly a proven half back..I will be happy..anything else will be gravy in my opinion..
