  1. Let's put it to bed already, based on his history here (Nichols and winning percentage and who cares if it was cause of the defence/st/shitty team. faced..he still wins) how we were rolling when he was playing (leading league in points scored..excellent TD to INT ratio) there is no doubt in my mind that we would have hosted a play-off game and prety certain it would have been this one on sunday. Matt takes a lot of grief and slack and no credit for wins...always a yeah but, but wins are wins and it's a team effort last time I checked..is he fancy and exciting like Retlly...nope...Is he cerebral and a surgeon like BLM..nope...is he a Grab you by the nuts and drag you to a win like Strev...nope...but the guy rarely did things to directly contribute to a loss (save for that 3-4 game stretch last year...yikes!!) and guys played for him and followed him as he was a leader..speculating never solves anything but man oh man people sure lamented not having him down the stretch...
  2. Another telling indicator of who is locked in and is going to be the hammer and not the nail is the fact we continue to practice outdoors, Rider's indoors...
  3. The Bomber org doesn't care about any news coming out of Regina, speculation, video..game playing..none of it...doesn't matter to the players or coaching staff...they are game planning for the Rider's at their healtiest, and for what they do, and any possible tweaks that they may employ..straight up and simple...regardless of who is in, they have a plan so speculate away but it doesn't matter...at this point in season teams are pretty much what they are and not much changes, tho we kinda went against the grain in the WSF and changed a lot...I don't see the Rider's doing that as I don't think their staff is experienced enough, and good enough to implement big changes, and are kind of sitting there for most part of the year thinking they are the cats meow and are top notch as it is...and this is a good thing We have basically been paying CGY and SSK exclusively the last month and a bit so have lots of film..have been studying them a lot, and have been working on stuff in practices for a while now focusing soley on those 2 teams, because regardless of how the season panned out the last month we knew we were basically going to have to play one or the other, and most likely both, so we will be prepared, and it showed in step one dismantling BLM and Whiney **** Sunday will be much of the same with a similar outcome of dismantling Goofy **** and the Clown show tries to keep in check there....I bet 100 percent you will see those arsebags chirping..crossing midfield in warm-ups and trying to instigate pre-game BS like in LDC and BB, and we will once again ignore it and go about our business, and take em out back to the woodshed and handle business
  4. Twice this spring at TC when I was there doing my phoney reports some putz kept looking over staring at me..and commenting something to his equally putzy pal...not sure if they knew me from before..or thought I was some random player or what..but I was gonna go confront them but they high tailed it
  5. U did talk a lot of smack about the turf tho....hahahaha
  6. kick his ass for fun anyway..I would...or will if you like
  7. And that Bomber team was drinking their own juice...figured they just needed to show up....This team is polar opposite of that one

Now that made me laugh...best part of my day today hahaha
  9. 2 td's...3 ints...average of 16 points a game is success??...oooookay
  10. Yeah any core/rib injury is tough to play with if not 100 percent..and pretty much if you have to do anything to strain or brace yourself...you usually re-injure it...Winnipeg is not dumb tho...we are game plannng for Farjado and if he doesn't play their offence doesn't change at all with Harker...it's more limited if anything and he will see things..looks..schemes...and game intensity he hasn't seen pretty much all year...and will be overwhelmed
  11. MORONS
  12. oblique..core muscle if it was pulled, wont be fully healed in this time, and if he plays (hopefully) the first time he tries to escape the pocket, or get out of the grasp of a defender..he's right back to where he was when he forst injured it...or will be severely hampered. EWven just bracing for a hi or getting tossed down and trying to protect yourself for a fall will aggravate it..I guarantee you as much as Rider Brass and media try to spin it..there is concern there
  13. Playing soft toss with no defence or G urgency coming at you is a different ball game than throwing in anger..having g head on swivel and avoiding a rush..first over exertion he has to make he is finished.. or finished in quick time if he is going into any activity with still some limitations and pain...hurt or not..still want him to play..I'd take an opponent with a first time playoff start..in a win or go home game and one with questionable talent anyway 7 days a week and twice on sunday Plus it puts to bed any boo hoo hooing from out west that they lost to us in playoffs..again for some reason or another
  14. losing Lapo is the least of our worries/concerns heading into next season, and not a major loss if he does go

I hear ya...but that's where I played some of my ball so know area very...very well...I remember when living out there some teamates..former gang bangers who escaped the life took us into some areas....let me tell you I was glad we were with them as they were revered as hero's/celebrities there and made it safe...but would never have went there alone...and was told not to either hahaha They didn't even like going back...that area is the spawning ground of what was the gangster rap/hard core hip hop scene
  16. injury like that too gets in your head..and you get leary and almost subconsciously not able to really let it go for fear of re-injure and this is gonna lead to interception heaven..so please please let him play...
  17. well if you watch that game he got hurt in...you see he was obviously more than knicked...he also hurt his throwing hand in that game too...possible reason why he didn't throw a pass...but I think it was moreso he didn't need to throw a pass...why risk a higher percentage of error play if not needed?
  18. again...proving over and over what a dumbass fan base that is...but if he was wearing green that would be an all-world season...frigging bunch of goofs
  19. Strev should res all week...he doesn't need to practice at this point...and totally expected him to be spectating
  20. happened in practice...and reports last week was not able to throw an actual ball...
  21. over and over...they just keep proving they have zero clue and just believe what they want to...kinda sad almost hahaha
  22. yeah he of 3 sacks...a forced fumble...multiple pressures...couple knock downs and 6 tackles...very invisible...what a just utterly stupid fanbase..who just keep confirming it over..and over...and over
  23. Fajardo will play...and I hope he does as he doesn't really scare me and the defense knows what he is and what you will get, and if he isn't 100% it will be even less than normal...which wasn't great with him leading that team over 3 games they only averaged just over 16 points per game against us, and he threw more INT's than TD's (3 to 2)...and that was against us in games where we were missing Harris..Nichols...Alexander..Jeffcoat among others and were probably playing some of our poorer ball of the year and were a very one dimensional team. Since then we have replaced Hecht with Alexander..Maston for Rios..Jeffcoat is back to form...so it's a different defense, and scheme now... Fajardo was/is your classic feast on the crap teams...very mediocre to barely average against good teams...go back and look at his stats vs CGY/WPG/MTL and see for yourself..
  24. ahh gotcha...and yeah i got that vibe from TSN too...anything to stroke Sask fans fragile persona

Nichols is a good QB..cerebral and efficient but not other wordly. On a good team with a nice compliment of weapons he is excellent and a guy who will win you more than you lose, but he is what he is...won't become anything more now and isn't a guy who will consistently out a team on his back and carry/will/inspire them to win by himself. He may make the odd spectacular play but it will be rare and it's not in his DNA Strev is a different beast at this time...smart and young/inexperienced and learning the game...He is fire and determination and a outright beast who can..and has taken a game in his hands and just powered his way to succeed at any cost, its more so one dimensional to this point, but is leaps and bounds better than when he first got here...he can and has done he spectacular and sticking with him over the longterm will do it over and over and he WILL start doing it in the air...for all the detractors out there he is not just a runner....he's just been more of a runner while here than a passer, and thats due to his limited experience as a starting qb at any level. The special thing with Strev is the team already has his respect and see's his commitment to the team and what he will do...and they will go through a wall for him, on both sides of the ball because they see him doing it on every play..and that is huge..he has that unique ability to raise the level of play of everyone..defense included and players have already said as much.
