yup..Strev has speed...but not elite...what make him different is he gets up to speed fast with power, and its hard to get him until he has a good head of steam...and yeah he didnt get a 2 yr look in NFL if he couldnt pass, or was flawed.....the workouts are extensive and very particular for QB's...so if there were red flags he would have never got a chance, let alone hung around as long as he did He suffers from basically not getting a chance in a offence geared to some of his strengths, but not focused on it, and a lack of reps....give him the reigns of an offence 100% to grow into, and he will win you a lot more than he will lose, and on a team like ours....could get u a cup

exactly...this was a classic case of how to stagnate and ***** a players progression...look at yr 1 140 att 86 comp 61.4 % 1134 yds 8.1 avg 11 td 7.9 td% 5 int 3.6 int % 65 long 98.3 Rating Not bad for a raw rookie with 2 yrs of QB experience as a starter in college when allowed to actually play QB... Last yr of college was 316 of 481 for 4183 yards and 32 TD's...also ran for 720 yards and 11 TD's....so tis narrative of he cant throw is wildly exaggerated. Let him play actual QB and not gimmick boy. Threw for 52 td's and 6100 yards in 2 seasons and23 games...for comparison...in 45 games The Faj (4 seasons and 45 games) threw for 9600 yards and 52 TD's....and apparently he is the next coming

Streveler you have to remember is/was still learning....he came here with really only 2 yrs of true starting under his belt, and did fairly well right out of the gate, as a pure rookie. He in my opinion got stunted here by Lapo once he realized what kind of runner and beast he was, and didnt allow him to really be a true QB or work on anything in practice to actually develop...they shoved him in this "box" of what they wanted to use him as and never let him out of it....how's a guy supposed to develp? There is nothing wrong with his arm strength...I was at the stadium when he first came up, and was still unsigned, and he had to practice after the team....had him throwing to Bison players, with all types of throws, as well into the net, and throwing to spots on the field...and was dead on and looked great. I had no clue who this was, and thought if that was the Bison QB they brought in..then damn!!!

Prukop was the best option out there..and has never got a chance to do anything with a full compliment around him...he's gonna come in to do what McGuire was asked...nothing more..nothing less. If anything we have upgraded that position this off season as we have a 5 yr CFL backup now..who has seen live bullets and knows the league. Basically...he has done what That Faj did up until ZC got knocked out with the Riders 3 yrs ago. Had a better arm than the Faj too

more Canadian depth disappearing....dont see a lot of good things there this yr at this point in time

I'm fine with that as a back-up and to run short yardage...maybe some gimmicky crap....when he got dumped I had hoped we kicked the tires...He has experience in the CFL and will give us exactly what McGuire did and that seemed to work out....maybe more as he is more experienced and he can scramble for yards. He not here to push ZC for starter job, and likely is a 1 yr guy here. And he played behind crap lines his entire time in CFL and hasn't been in a room like we have here...I feel 100% better today knowing we hit camp with ZC...Prokoff and Brown and whatever new arms we bring in, than ZC...Brown and and a bunch of rooks and really....BC loses the starter...their back-up is totally unproven, heck so is their starter, Sask...who the heck even is their back-up?...Ticats?...same...and prob only reason he was let go in Edm cause Jones is a fool and he didnt meet the eye test of bodytype...I would also rather have prokoff than Ottawa back up as well..experience is like gold...and playing behind a solid line...like we have can work wonders for a QB....see ZC in Sask vs here

If Evans gets his game back....when Moore gets back...mid season...and if Schaefer Baker has a second solid season..kinda flamed out last part of season...and who's the other Canadian reciever and back up? Even Duke..let's see if in he Duke of 2018.. I'd take Bailey ..Ellingson ..Demski or whitehead..Burnham..Rhymes over their top 3...same with Weineke..Lewis..and Whatever their 3rd is And then...online..what did they do to improve that pile of crap? Nothing...and their dline just got gutted and no clear replacement.

Really....going into last yr we weren't the favorite...everyone was saying cats again....Riders were the team in the west...u till those teams played us.. then the narrative changed and most critics wised up We going in just as strong .. especially on defence...we didnt start with a Rose or Wilson...same with Nichols...we are this yr...Stove didn't define us...and our defence with whomever is in his spot will be more than adequate for us to get off running this yr Maston and Darby is a wash...if anything Maston brings more physicality which will be nice until BA makes his appearance...and what a mid season addition that will be...it will be just like an NFL guy getting back...and it could coincide with a Kongbo sighting. Same can be said on offence... cohesion and familiarity we have in spades...Ellingson will fit in seemlessly as he and ZC have history...and he knows how to attack CFL defenses...so at worst we playing 1 new guy (reciever) to our system and league in general...again...we will hit the ground running while other teams gotta learn all the new pieces.

yeah....we can easily replace the rushing totals...Harris got us 623 yards....Oliveira totalled 429...and that wasnt all in starts....JA got 285 yards...in only 1 true start....thats 714 yards....now give them both a full season lugging the rock...we will be top 2 in team rushing...again
