Harris wasnt adebt at it when he first came into league either...he grew into it...and both our backs now will do the same. As for in the passing game...no RB was much in passing game last year..as we rarely used them as it's not a focus of our offence anymore.....its not that they couldn't do it...Harris had a whopping 11 receptions last year....Brady 9....guess they both are no threat

Eli was the 6th guy...not like he started, but was a valuable 6th guy...His loss isnt gonna define our season and his replacement played in final few games and the Grey Cup on short yardage and did ok....

I wouldn't say its worse when the season hasnt even started... Sask signed a couple linebackers and Spitty....their oline still sucks...no RB...Dline is weaker...DB's are weaker, and they lost or havnt signed many of their depth guys...we better on paper right now BC has 2 unproven QB's...weak oline, They signed stove and a few other peices, but nothing thats gonna make them world beaters all of a sudden, and all the new pieces need to gel...we btter on paper right now Edmonton...jettisoned some of their good Canadian players on defense....still have a average oline....lost their best one due to retirement, way overpayed for an average player in Lacy...not sure even what their dline will look like....we better on paper there too Cgy...that is who we be battling with for 1st I believe...but they too lost some pieces, but also retained some key guys...and they have depth...cause they dont spend stupidly ...just like us Just because a team or 2 blows their wad on a shiny new toy, or two....doesnt matter when they didnt adress their huge needs and weaknesses if he not your number one guy sure...1000 yard guy in 2019....over 600 yards in 12 games last year...still under 30, be a good compliment to Demski/Woli/Bailey and Ellingson...knows the league and the waggle...return kicks too in a pinch if u need him to....prob get him cheap as well...

18 Really...Maston was a starter until injured...So his signing and Darby exit is a wash...he'd have been a nice fit at safety until BA is back, but I sure one of the Hallets can hold it down, or one of the imports... Agree with @Colin Unger Walters made sure he signed the vital guys...ones who you won't replace with better in free agency, and has faith in the returning PR guys, and scouting staff to fill the voids. Pretty sure both Rene and Dobson make active roster next yr too if they don't get NFL gigs

yeah...coming off an injury....nobody knows the extent....and if it's warranted 100 percent test any one coming off injury, especially 35 yrs old or older

hell yeah....when we prepping guys....we test monthly....and it no different than a free agent camp before offering a contract...u gotta test the goods

As a professional athlete in this day and age u dont gain 20 pounds in the off-season....and I am sure they wanted to see a 40 time..agility and strength test...amount other things....And if he balked or felt slighted somehow...thats not a good look on him, nor is it a attitude and action you want other players following I'm sure we have money set aside for a possible Kongbo and or Desjarlais pro-rated return....and Walters always carries over a percentage for re-ups the following yr to against this yrs cap hit...mind u if there a bonus max now...that may not be a factor now
