ahh...yes for the game...gotcha....yeah true linebacker we thin for sure, but obviously they know who they are pegging for the roster, and prob wanna see a lot of reps for the SAM candidate and backup, so may as well let em go nuts with play time...and they really like Clements, so figure they didnt really wanna waste a roster spot for TC for someone they likely won't keep...to be honest I was shocked when the elks ditched him and very happy we scooped him up....dude is a baller and with more and more reps/rotation is gonna impress I think our defense is gonna be top notch again....I only concerned a bit about losing both Kongbo and Hansen....very underrated losses...those guys were key to our success and allowing the starters to stay fresh...of all guys we lost...Harris..Adams..Lawler...Darby...those 2 were the ones that bothered me most in terms of game day impact......I exclude Desjarlais and Alfred as we kind of have that covered in house and with the draft/depth....But those 2 rotational pieces on defense...we as of right now don't have a viable/as good replacement for them yet that I can see

maybe he vaxxed now...who knows....and maybe he happy with his 2 rings and calling it a day....never know

we have likely on roster Biggie..Briggs..Gauthier...Wilson for sure....Malik Clements guaranteed will be the replacement for the guy last yr...name escapes me...Mauro as the Global...also teamer Cadwallader and sounds like Rutledge front runner for SAM...but also have Rene who can prob take reps there in a pinch...so we will be fine roster wise for linebacker and hybrid linebacker

If Thompson has another strong game, pretty sure he is a lock to start the season as the safety...and if he performs well there, and Maston is done for year...I wouldn't be shocked to see Alexander slot in at SAM if we struggle there. I'd like to see us tho groom Rene for that spot...prefect body type and skill set for it

we know what we have with our starters, and no need to risk any injury...i'ts a battle for a few spots...Rotational end...6th Olineman....a DB and the dime and Adams replacement on offence....so let em all get lottsa reps....and see who jumps out of the pack. I'm sure Rene is a lock on roster, so he gets to sit at home...same with Grey. I also wonder if Rene may be the guy who gets reps at corner, safety and the dime this yr once the season starts...with him and Ford we have some nice roster flexibility using a Canadian in a predominantly American role....May allow us this year to roster an additional Import receiver, or RB, the fact the 2 RB's can return makes it even more likely. Could allow Grant to take more of a role on offence...even if not the defacto starter, and am also looking forward to what O'Leary Orange can do....he was a draft pick I was super pumped about when drafted...

Winston Rose is in his 5rh yr...3rd with Bombers Nick Taylor in his 7th....and 3rd with Bombers. Thing is....doesn't have to be a rotational guy...say a Canadian safety went down...you could put an import In there and then the naturalized canadain takes the role of the 49% snap guy...u have to designate how many true national starters before game on offence and defence....so doesn't matter what position u sub a guy in for...just u need however many are designated pre game...

Don't think we will really miss a beat with Harris gone...Johnny A just kept on doing what he been doing I could see Thompson being season opening safety...and pretty sure Malik Clements solidified one DI spot Hope agadusi gets to show what he has next game..as I know team is high on him...thiinking him..Jackson and Schoen will all make squad

Next year we will....if Sayles and walker back...that being said you can swap Jefferson or Willie for Jake now...and throw Wilcots or whoever the new game day rotational end is...same on offence now...you could toss bailey in say Woli spot...or demski and have an additional import there...or bring in import olineman for a jummbo package...will be interesting to see who we set as the naturalized Americans

yeah...I agree on that....how and who keeps track of the snaps....but I like the idea of the naturalized player, maybe just say 20 snaps a game max...be easier to count and manage....who cant count? lol

someone gets it...and aligns with what ownership wants....dont go off some twitter yappin that it would increase revenue....soley not the case or intention...its also about being able to have guys signed who can play with minimal up coaching and seasoning...which trust me...is a huge issue with a lot of positional coaches in the league...and yes....also to a degree improve quality of play....now imagine an olineman goes down and the backup....rookie...long time not good enough to actually start but there cause a) his passport matches a ratio or b) there was nobody else to have tere...to said ratio and your QB gets killed and is out for yr....thats where coaches and management are coming from....sure, any player can miss an assignment, and get beat...so dont go on that tangent....but a better...more polished/experienced guy who has no roster limitations is less likely

yeah...obviously....didnt say they would spend under cap....but you could pay 2 Travis Bond types on entry contracts as opposed to prob that same salary combined in 1 sub par Canadian back up lineman...and be better for it...thats what I was referring to...bang for buck...not bang for less bucks....
