Scare people lol We should put Eli in the nose in Jake's spot ...be more productive
-
Jake will be gassed waddling out..looking like he should be playing mixed slo pitch Shut it! Lol...
-
Ugly...poor Fox having to play with them
-
Oh nice dirty Lanier is playing..he will be good for a 15 yarder or 2
-
Our interior dline tho is making me nervous...my only real concern...I hope Younger has a new wrinkle...cause with crowd noise pre snap Harris won't be able to audible Yip...he's pissed still when we broke Rourkie in the WF
-
Well hope it's prime Wilson cause if it is...we be good...but dude hadn't played in a while...fingers crossed Nick Taylor with a pick today I bet
-
WTF with all this Harris talk...he's a perennial loser
-
rubber....time to meet road....Please God....I hope you came to Buck last night and kicked some sense into his head....this game truly hinges on what he has drawn up....and ZC executing...lets friggin go!
-
Glad the Als and their hornblowing assbag fans are out...I dont think I could have stomached listening to the Faj all week leading up to the game...and really...The Faj in back to back cups just is wrong
-
could have gave him Jakes money and rostered Samson in his spot...and considering we didnt need a Canadian DT could have rostered literally any other National.....easy peasy Biggie...Wilson...BA....couldnt stay healthy...where are they?...well 2 are playing coming off extended time off with injury...and u know damn well if Biggie was partly healed...he would be playing too....history has shown that
-
Not sure why we let Hansen walk away either...sure be better than the other German we roster...or Punter guy...would add more value on dline rotation than Thomas and Schmeck...plus he kills it on ST's
-
Sure glad we didn't wanna pay him 85k...
-
To be frank...it's a shitty...weak and extremely poor use of assets for a big game They will do absolutely nothing..and will ripple through the defence as to what we are planning..
-
The Chad just ain't a big game QB...nor is the Faj...we Def made him look like one tho
-
Sad to hear of Ted Wymans passing....truly good guy...Maye we will have an Angel on our shoulder today giving us a little lift...I'm sure the players are gonna wanna ball out in his honor RIP Ted
-
Parker had a legitimate knee injury...Hubert I think just exceeded expectations originally....but that caught up to him
-
if him and Lawler come to play...and dominate and XC can feed them....things should open right up for the ground and pound.....I think everything hinges on what Buck has in store....he has been very vanilla and predictable all yr...was this bt design??
-
Hopefully Buck and crew has watched lotsa film and will attack the intermediate zones with quick plays, as Sask gets generally scalped there....and wait for the deep shots when they try and adjust to it, and that will also open up the run...My fear is we will go deep shot after deep shot.....and at times into multi coverage and sustain some picks,,,ZC has to be the tactician he has showed of late...and not the early season chuck it and hope the receiver wins the battle I more concerned with this defensive roster...moeso on the front end not allowing us to get Ssk offence off the field and they eat up a lot of time....Whiney face Harris may only put up TG's but if they nail 4 or so....and get another score somehow....and control the clock and we are sputtering due to a poor game plan....could get real dicey I sense our oline is gonna show up today....and we can control time of possesion....The huge noisy crowd I think is gonna make a difference....gotta take advantage of sneaking into 1st

people dont understand in football....that sustained failures never give you security....and also refusal to change doesn't either....if we bow out...even before the Grey Cup thats 3 fails in a row....and for most part for similar reasons....how long do you keep doing the same thing and failing?....to me...u get 3 strikes....and a sit down with your bosses to "discuss" Depth and reliance on old players....old ways...that worked at one point...not exceptionally well now...and bad habits/traits has what's ailed us....we had success....3 yrs ago now.....the last 2 seasons were nice...but not succesful...this season was a mess for various reasons...and according to all the press...we are as healthy as we have been....all yr...Woods I can see maybe not 100 percent....but then again....when has Osh sat a vet who wasnt before.....no need to revisit that and get some of your weak lil mindsets all in a hissy fit....but you know....it's happed as recently as...hmmm...last 2 Grey Cups incase you forgot...how'd tose turn out after the splendid reg. season record? We had all yr to allocate depth in key spots where injuries can be an issue...the respective lines....LB...yet we sat on 3...4 guys on PR as receivers who were below average at best...a couple DB's who keep getting bypassed....because apparently according to someone everyone in the building can help us win...well I see several in building where thats not the case.....but also several where it is....but they get bypassed Taylor brings value...smarts....and I know he is in tip top shape....but he hasnt played since last yr's WSF....To think he wont have some rust...reaction and mental is foolish....same with Wilson...heck of a player when healthy and in a groove...is he healthy?....and he certainly will be in no groove....falling back on the yeah but's for a cup win in 2019 and 2021 and successful seasons.....but failure in the playoffs ...and llok how bad we sucked prior to Osh is also pointless....We also didnt have a legit management group and support staff then either...You think Walters and Miller would not do due diligence and hire a moron?....nobody says fire anybody immediately....and certainly they wont running up into the 2025 Grey Cup at home chance....but a epic flop again...for similar reasons...at minimum a talk has to be made and some upper management direction given...this is a what have you done for me now business, and where are you taking us...not a free pass business for prior work...Gonna be an interesting game...we should win....but I have a hard time seeing us getting Sask offence off the field with the makeup of our front 7....unless they have some funky assed scheme they gonna unload on the CFL tomorrow and blow our minds.....That being said...we run that defence out vs MTL/TOR....well settle in for an off-season of Osh for last 3 Cups....heckle me all you want....but playing out like before...and hate to say I told u so...... again...... our PR has been a baren wasteland all yr...2 yrs running pretty much
-
if for anything some serious....serious discussions on whats going on as that would be 3 yrs running with stupidity costing us agree....some guys should not be resigned...and a couple with contracts already for 2025 should be pruned before January.....we all know damn well that if he has access to them..Biggie...Thomas..Kolo...Wilson...BA...will all be taking unlimited reps u wont like the answer...as u are already poo poing about it...but it will be a win despite the lunacy...or in spite of it....call it whatever u like and will just allow it to continue into 2025.... Culture and how we run this team will not change with a new HC...it's ingrained here from top to bottom....if anything players will be less complacent as a new HC may park them on bench if under producing....and most likely a new guy plays best available talent...not favorites and long in tooth vets....I'm not worried either with a change I'd be more worried about Miller getting canned...McManus and his team and Walters than I am with any coach...
-
it's not so much who is better than who...tho Thomas is by far our worst dlineman...Schmeck right with him...It's more a matter of we are dressing only 6....2 of whom are sub par at best. Playoff football....more conducive for running....and where we are playing a QB who thrives with time in pocket, and if he can get a run game going with it....lord help us.....and we roster arguably our weakest dline rotation of the yr...by far. I just dont see the logic...reasoning....or decision behind it
-
yup...was gonna mention that...he after being tied up..spun backwards and when finally got his bearings had a QB flushed right into his waiting gut....solid contribution....and on the PPF score sheet he would have got high grades for that...as the other DT busted pocket and the ends turned the qb up to climb the pocket and escape...but get zero credit
-
whats the league leader have in 18 games?...of heavy reps?....
-
WJ needs to be the accessory part and used according to that, not as the ancillary ....thats where he thrives and at this juncture would give great bang for the buck. But we need to roster....and play guys that benefit that role, and quite frankly with who we have used in the middle for 80% plus of snaps just negates it......if you were to track and look at ...and grade the snaps with the canadians on....and strictly 3...or 4 of WJ/Woods/Adams/Fox or one of the ends inside with another end you would see a marked difference in success And by grade I don't mean PPF crap...but how we really do it....to simplify best I can at times a 3 metric system....starting with Alignmen.t...assignment and technique and effort...and success/failure of any given play and what each was further break it down with a grade or scoring system allowing for things like missed tackles...a critical error or missing your assignment...then look at sacks..int's...ff's...etc and take it another level to how many actual chances the player had....how many times he capitalized, and then score it as to if it was a big impact play, and then track impact plays over course of snaps in game/season That's part of it in a quick nutshell but also just scraping the surface on how/what you score and grade and that PPF is pointless as they do not know what the assignment was let alone alignment and if a guy messed up....
