  1. yeah...there is no logical reason some team have had 2 buys before another team has had even 1
  2. let m have their day in the sun....Likely they win 2...3 more games all yr...nothing wrong with being a charitable team lol...especially in June or July
  3. whos to say after all this...and some guys coming back...we lose another...weirder things have occured
  4. in all seriousness tho...whats the reason for not doing it....thats the bigger question
  5. Yeah we have 3 vets who will have had 2 weeks of practice who could easily slide in...not raw rookies...and we have lawson who should ne betting lions share of National reps at DT already playing...and 2 more than capable interior O-line guys who basically are in same boat....no reason to not tinker....especially vs the Elks and leading into a bye week
  6. NOVEL concept....thats a good plan
  7. prety sure he gonna be playing with a vengeance...and doing all he can to help bhis team
  8. well...with the return of Lawler now Schoen and Demski are going to have a field day...factor in that Teams are now forced to focus a bit more on Woli too, as he has been more of a focus on offence and co-ordinators need to respect that.....then you also have Bailey who if they try to take others away will kill you as well....so yeah...there should be no more offensive excuses...especially if we sort out that oline
  9. yeah...no tds were given up and Ott couldnt do anything but when your defense is on the field 22 of 30 mins in second half....and you dont have a true returner at the ready as a backup when the league best goes down, to shorten the field for your sputtering offence...well we saw the result...and its not a super fun one.....that being said...I not pan icing or too concerned if the appropriate things get done
  10. I'm not either sadly....I bet he wont make any until we are under .500 or at risk of missing the playoffs
  11. factor in that the defense was on the field for 22 minutes in second half...one could assume they were right gassed...and it showed with the sloppy 4th quarter in particular tackling...thats a dead sign of players on fumes....and that falls on the offence sucking and not sustaining drives
  12. now....lets see how things go on offence....slap a new center in....Rotate Neuf and Dobson to see who is working best and keep a clean pocket for ZC....see what this sputtering offence can do
  13. Nail would have been driven if Schoen didnt drop that one....and was a rare case that he did....and will be rare to see again...sometimes one play.....and one score/fail to score can totaly effect a game when all said and done...and that was a good case of it
  14. yeah its nowhere near panic time or utter collapse...and truthfully...a few minor tweaks...and they can be that wrecking ball again..
  15. not coach through fear...but not always trying to be the nice guy and not hurt feelings...theres a difference...He's also uber stubborn and at times wont change, or flip the script ever so slightly as he knows thats what many are saying ..wanting...and he will not do it almost out of spite it seems.... yes...this
  16. We are at the 1/3 mark.....4-2 and thats with issues abound....most easily fixed...well really all easily fixed if addressed and not allowed to continue....this is all on Osh now to do the right thing....and pull out his inner Mathews/Murphy/Bouno Its a 2 horse race in the West as to who is hosting a home playoff game...either WF and WSF....Not sold on the Lions at all, and also not sold on peoples worry on our demise....lots of season to sort it out, and we have seen this song and dance before early into a season But for all the love heaped on Osh, he does need to change his ways a bit, and things will be fine...season success is all at the feet of our coaching staff and management...Lets see now if this Mafia is all that and gets it done, and not just trying to ride the season based on what worked and how they did things from 2019-2021....you don't evolve and adapt....you fall by the wayside....this is where we need to adapt and evolve in a few instances, and not worrying about hurting feelings, or feeling like you are not being loyal to this player or that player...you need to be loyal to the team and put the parts in place to make it work, and if that means taking certain guys out of the starting lineup, or even parting ways to allow the new hungry blood to make their mark....then so be it...pro sports is a cruel game, and like the saying goes...most times nice guys finish last...we are at that point now....not the finishing last part...but are a boxer on wobbly legs about to get knocked out and lose the title...We already went down in the 2022 Grey Cup for an 8 count.....if things don't change soon....we about to get knocked the eff out
  17. Yeah sadly...I think u right And when surgery is required with this type of injury..the recovery and return to play is significantly longer...and no guarantee u actually get back to where u were pre injury
  18. Say hello to any team tho ..pretty much
  19. Milt had many horrible drops...all reciever do
  20. No he got a lot upfront..they saving about 170k ...180k tops
  21. Preaching to choir..I been echoing same things..BA hasn't fell off tho in my opinion...he's just being asked to play too many different roles or schemes and doesn't know if he coming or going Thomas is toast...KOLO was never good enough...and something up with Neuf but he is an ideal 6th guy and for the short yardage teams I agree with BA or Parker at SAM...Ideally id rather see Cole..he's our best athlete...or if anything one of the best ..Houston...Parker..Swarmay and ADS are guys who should be leaned on now and are the future if you ask me...young...tough..and sound tacklers... And fix the PR to be an actual functioning entity...
  22. who they trying to kid??...thats a 12 month recovery to get to hopefully 100 percent...and in a younger athlete....with it usually you get Cartlidge damage, and can actually get some serious nerve and cell damage issues...to the point where a lot of times yo9u can incur cell death in the tissues of the leg...I'd be surprised if this isnt career ending....or when he tries to come back he just gonna be a lame sitting duck out there I also know from seeing that injury before....from a teamate, that since he requires surgery then he had shifting of the bones so needs hardware to put things back in place and heal and takes a good half yr if not more to just walk like u did before....and thats before any football rehab....and that was on younger athlete...not s soon to be 40 yr old
  23. I remember a time someone complained about it...media...or opponent....escapes me when tho....none the less....its okay to be a **** sometimes....
  24. yup.....its nice to be nice...until its time not to be so nice...right now is the time I also think Osh doesnt want to come across as running up the score on teams too...as he got called out for it early in his career here...and it's stuck with him...who gives a flying Fack what people think/say...thats part of reason why we many many times take foot off gas and almost go into preserve the lead mode...and it's killed us too many times to mention...last night should never have happened.again
  25. i will go one step further and say if a few guys were replaced in game, or a certain rule was used....Cole could have been on the field at most of the whiffs by Briggs would not have happened...and a few other guys wouldnt have had to over pursue to try and do more than they needed to, and in effect took themselves out of the play, or got burned from said over pursuing....Osh yammered on about sitting Darby one game cause he wasnt seeing things well and getting burned...so why not do same with Lolo...and or Neuf....was that a one off deciion...or was it not done because Neuf been here a long time, and Kolo has been here for a few more minutes than Darby, and was praised for his admirable fill in for Couture?...
