Good technique tho by Fletcher Jones actually on series looked good on the run plays...but we shall see how he is exposed in space or in his drops...hence why he be ideal situational/role guy...but not the defacto starter

Yeah for a few private owned teams..losses are not a threat to going boobies up.. In all honesty across the board and corporate..sponsor..TV deals..etc.. the league is prob stronger than its been in decades

From what I know Dru wanted out..which is been stated by him and team...but also he said he wants to be in Winnipeg and to try and work a deal since they were not gonna release him and get nothing No other teams were involved or kicked tires...

I wouldnt say outstanding..or even very good...he was OK Was playing kinda within himself a bit more than we are used to seeing..so appeared like he was resurgent..but he got away with some horrendous passes and decisions before he got hurt..and still was showing weakened arm strength, an inability to consistently hit guys in stride or lead them into space And his pocket presence and ability to navigate in it to buy time..or get in a better spot to set up and throw was non existent..again..like previous 2 yrs...he looks panicked ..unsure where and when to make a deliberate decision and looks a lot like a confused rookie now than a seasoned vet One game of Brown was night and day opposite...curious for tonight to see if there is a continuation of that..if so..if and when ZC can come off 6 game...he shouldn't be handed keys to offence again..just because...time marches on and he is on borrowed time now Yup..as per my post above...too much of the tendencies we saw last 2 yrs are there in full force

Yup Selling point was he liked it here..family liked it here..was comfortable here...if we had a diff head coach..but same players..he still woulda wanted to be here

To be honest...im not too worried with Perkins..with the right scheme he should be pretty damn effective if pressed into duty Realistically this yr if Brown gets knicked in a game..id prefer to see him take back up reps..he is way more pro ready..as he has been a pro now in 3 leagues..and started games and played in 2 of them..this idea he has no arm is kinda stupid.. sure his mechanics are not perfect..but who's are really..he don't need to be perfect..his game isnt a pocket passer guy 100 percent of time Now if Dru say goes 2-0...3-0..say ZC is on 6 the whole duration and he is sporting a winning record and the offence is clicking...do you extend ZC 6 more..use that cap savings to try and lure a neg list guy..or a nfl camp cut who will be a hot commodity in the cfl? And or bring him back on roster but as the #2 until..or if Brown falters...or gets hurt? Automatically giving him the #1 job again after all that time off..when we are doing just fine makes zero sense..so he becomes the backup..if he is a team guy he should embrace that

Timing couldn't have been better..another week and he'd be in Hamilton right now From my understanding Brown made it known to ott management that winnipeg was where he wanted to go...so Ottawa worked with Kyle and got it done Yup..I think also even with ZC we may have lost more than we should have too...Brown i think gives us a better offence...hes not a rookie..has basically seen it all now and isnt a sitting duck in pocket...and also doesn't panic like ZC does now

yeah...players will see some...and the possible changes may eat up some...but teams if they put in the effort...use the Bombers template as a way to do it can get fan engagement and make the game day a place to be...just have to get off their butts and do it I do think as well that some of the changes may not come about...especially if this seasons game continue on the path they are Some the rule changes...the clock thing...rouge change....benches where they should be...all for it...and hopefully a game day roster increase by 2..3 guys comes to fruition....But some rethinking of the field changes may get put on back burner for a while. Cause really they aren't an issue and if anything will cause less excitement, and unneeded costs...so why bother? yeah we had a plan...force TE into use...ready or not...and likely ruin him...The aquisition on Brown will allow him to develop in a non rushed way....of we dont just roll with Brown for 3..4 yrs if he shows he's the man..TE could get us some assets

I recall him owning us as a starter when in CGY in a game....or 2 He needs to be with a good supporting cast, players and coaching, and not have to drag a team to finish line on his back...he just not that guy Perfect backup tho...especially in an in game injury situation

In regards to QB's here...Who starting..who backing up and if they are a pricey backup....etc All irrelevant...we are paying for 3 guys regardless of what order we run them out...so makes no difference if ZC is a high paid backup....or a over-payed average starter End of the day we paying what we paying, and a lot of ZC money is already payed anyway...So if we nose dive seriously and are out of it by game 12..13....Then dealing him then is an easy thing as he would not kill a teams sms....That being said if it's a team who has already lost their starter for a significant amount of time then his salary has been off the books anyway Personally...I see some bright days ahead this season...I hear some guys are gonna be back sooner than later...and will kinda revamp our defence which seems to be gelling a bit, especially as we toned down the substituting, and just a few minor tweeks and change in usage should bring us over the top...And the fact we have 2 very capable starters now at QB....to cover any injury or a guy just sucking....we are setting up pretty good.... My only concern is Osh just effing it all up...as he has done past 3 yrs...and that real dumb use of a DA last game...and this insistence to run 2 useless 3rd Canadian WR's just leads me to believe he hasn't learned...wont change....doesn't know how to make the right changes...and will probably be the main culprit of any failure this yr again Hope I am wrong on that and we do another win in spite of him thing

yup...no reason to rush him back now...at any point in season...What's 1 more game to be sure he's good? It also get's Dru more acclimated and in sync with everything, so if and when ZC gets back to starting...and goes down again....Brown is ready. If ZC gets back, and we scuffling and or he is playing poor....there should be zero reason for Osh to not make the switch in a game...He shouldn't worry about anything else other than getting the more productive guy on the field...its a luxury we now have that hasnt been here in a while....use it

exactly...makes zero sense....ZC can be healthy and the ultimate backup if DRU gets hurt...or starts to struggle....Put ZC back in and if he is playing well...then on we go...

Personally...I'd go with the hot hand and the more productive when both are 100 percent....like why wouldn't you in order to give best chance to win
