  1. I would hope everyone is working hard...and the best 45 dress...not the best 38 or so and then some coach's fav's
  2. Hopefully its wheatfall..Demski..Schoen..clercius and Echols...that be our best unit...Corcoran can keep his butt stapled to bench unless someone gets hurt...and even then rather incorporate Logan
  3. yup And or they PR one of them only to cut em loose a week or 2 later after they grab someone else....
  4. You would think if Schoen all of a sudden becomes healthy and close to former self...(he wont be this yr)....Wilson finds his way back, and Moore and Echols are here and soaking it all up...and really a week of running with the one's would be more than enough to roster either...or both...they not league rookies after all, that we would cut loose Case and Mitchell, cause why carry them when you would have Demski, Clercius, Sterns, Wheatfall, Cobb, Echols, Moore , Corcorran and hopefully Wilson? You only really need 7 on game day, so 2 would be 1 gamed or PR's and we still have that other guy we signed, who I dont see a future in the CFL with....basically a big ol meh burger with a side of average
  5. If we went with Corcoran and Cobb when we dont need to use a Canadian there whatsoever....Osh should be shot A hurt Schoen...Clercius...Cobb..Corcorran and Wheatfall...like really?...REALLY?? Both Moore and Echols have played in the league...know the standard route tree's all teams use....Know the opponent they be playing.....pretty aure if your coaching is elite you would have them ready and from what I know thats a indication I get
  6. yeah you would think....If not for anything a few weeks here....or there That being said...Undrafted Canadian.....Canadian School.....he definitely behind the 8-Ball as dumb as that is...the NFL political narrative and how/who/what they value at times over actual talent and potential is baffling to say the least I hope he gets to stick somewhere for a bit of an extended time...learn...and grow a bit and hopefully next yr decides to come north more polished and readu for a TC here where he actually can compete and not be learning/adapting In all honesty down there he is not gonna amount to anything...let alone get a real shot to more than a PR guy...maybe get the odd game here or there as a 3rd string clip board carrier
  7. Not shocked.. the way if the NFL...now curious if he clears waivers And if he does...do they PR him
  8. but that would make way too much sense, and make us so much better....dont be silly lol
  9. yeah he night and day from what he was when got there...but the clock is ticking on guy sadly...bonus for us in long run but this will be his PR yr and if he doesnt crack it next...I bet they release him, and he may play the PR dance a yr
  10. he's turning 27 before the NFL season starts next yr, this was his last hurrah as at best again he will be a projected fringe guy with "possible" upside, and if Schoen couldn't make the cut withhis abilty at same age and non draft/FA signing history, Wilson surely wont Plus next yr there will be 100's of 21..22 yr old receivers churned out of the collegiate level with his ability, or better who if a team put 2..3 yrs into developing/PR'in would still be younger than Pokey is now....this was his shot Waiting around hoping for a PR spot, or a team liking his skill set to make their roster this yr is a basic pipe dream really....don't blame him if he decides to wait it out....but could amount to nothing all yr Did we not release him so his old deal is nul and void?...even if not....resign/extend him...Pro rate him for 200k a yr for this yr..so he banks roughly 90k for 8 games....add a 100k signing bonus now for 2026 salary payed on this yr's books.....as I sure we have the money kicking around as we didn't really spend any this yr. Continue with the 200k for next....done
  11. yup....and with Manu he has improved, but still 4th on depth chart...next yr is the yr for him to show he has earned a spot, as they will only put so much time into it...if 3 yrs in he not on the 53...they will likley move on
  12. yeah....sit Wilson for a bit and let Ayers run with it....Ayers has upside and yrs ahead of him.....Wilson not so much, and part of reason we in the pickle we are with roster...guys not transitioned in effectively. At this point Ayers is the better LB but gets the back seat due to Oshs penchant for favoring/valuing vets too much, and really Ayers been here now 2 yrs...It's more than time to make the move and he's definitely "earned" the shot If we feel the need to continue to dress 45 linebackers then yeah slot Woods in for Logan, especially if we are able to dress Echols right away. You then have another returner option with CFL experience doing it with him and Vaval
  13. Woods has played coverage on teams, and if you add Bailey for Thomas, he can play on coverage as well.....and as said someone else would pick up the slack A special teams guy who is not a big time returner is not gonna make or break you...A guy on defense who can take 20 reps or so, and have impactful play as well as allow the other's on the dline to play that much better too Ayer's basically takes reps on short yardage packages...Woods obviously would as well being a legit dline guy, and he plays defensive reps...and plays them well and plays on kick returns as well as field goal unit...so it's really a win win more I looking at it the more I like the Echols signing
  14. but sitting and waiting...maybe traveling here and there to get a workout....doesn't pay you anything either....
  15. Earned a couple scarfs for that smart thinking
  16. nor can I...and if he did 99% sure be waiting around for a call and not on a PR making zero dinero He's a dime a dozen receiver down there...proba nickle a dozen really...no knock on him as a player...but just not super exceptional in anything for an NFL roster no he's busy getting his arse whopeD in MMA
  17. Possible Totally forgot about him kicking around out there...maybe he got glasses as his tracking on deep balls was an adventure
  18. Yeah...intruiging for sure...has good hands too Wonder if we see him and Moore ...or both in lineup this week? Schoen I think is a foolish add at this point..let him heal even more...the fact he trying to get back in with a brace on is something I don't like and has red flags all over it
  19. actually he had some nice games....I like that signing actually Bigger bodied guy....experimce...can return too I believe...would aoffer way more that that kid form the Mines school would.... Also tell's me Sterns gonna be on shelf a bit
  20. From what I know Demski will be good to go....so no issue there...Sterns tho I think is a no-go....slight chance but wouldnt bet on it Yeah Randolph is/was a TE...so he's also be an option to slip out for a pass...I'm sure that would catch teams off guard and do it only 1 time with a pass to him...and teams will have to account for him making space for a play maker
  21. he looks like he did here really....and was not top dollar good Randolph here has really started to establish himself....and gonna be a fixture for a while...we did well there and if we ever get Manu here...theres the RG guard and Randolph makes an even better guard for us
  22. yeah that last game as well was pretty revealing...ther DB backfield was weak as it was, and now will have more injuries to deal with now it looks like And yeah...a few roster tweeks....an addition....we may be just setting up for that late season run...Is Houston/Dandy this yrs Taylor/Maston? And we really need Woods on with Adams, Person..WJ and Vaughters and then just pick the the best of Schmeck and Thomas to roll with Lawson...Or better yet sit one and give Bailey his shot and see how that works yeah...we've had no choices lol
