No reason to bring Hallett on the field...We have 6 Canadians on offence so only need 1 on defense...if thats how we set the ratio...So just Kelly alone on every snap is all we need. But Smith rotating in will not hurt us and in certain down and distance where its more than 5 yards...swapping him in for Jones or Wilson and even taking out Kelly and putting Jackson at safety would make our defense more than good. @DTonOB can you clarify/confirm for us what our ratio requirements are for offence/defence as it doesnt actually say on any depth chart I think Griffin has been our most reliable guy not playing on the dline...All around he possess the best game of anyone....Fast....Physical...can cover 1 on 1...can actually tackle and doesnt dive at shins...He's been our best guy all 6 games...Holm has been steady as Holm is...but has his weak spots and still think he be best served for us as a safety I will bet anyone we wont miss Kramdi at all this game...and I bet we may even see one of our better defensive performances to date...Especially if we use the roster right and dont exclude Smith and Jackson from quality reps

great trait when team is stacked and on autopilot essentially and just winning on good given skill and talent being better than most...not so much when you have a thin roster of front line talent...a lot of weak spots...and minimal depth, and seem unprepared more often than not tho...need to do something to at times change the tide or catch a team sleeping

true...hence hopefully our coaches didnt screw the pooch in recognizing and adjusting and have him play a traditional safety..so he doesnt have to actually be in coverage and always beat and in trail position..stay up top...trust the eyes...and flow to the ball as over the top security...if he cant be trusted to do this...he should be off the roster...

Think that was more in the role of playing a lower safety ...kinda where Kramdi was...Hallett got relentlessly abused there before they figured they would let Kelly be raped over and over agin there....If he is just schemed to play up top...he should be fine...His coverage ability...Much like Hallett's before him...and Kramdi now are pretty bad...Jackson if in that role I bet mkes a huge difference...plus he has physicality to him too..

Yeh Jackson has that Strong Safety look and ability to him and that role wont be foreign to him as he has a lot of experience doing so....Bigger and more athletic than Kramdi and is actually a guy well versed in coverage I think we see more of Smith again rotating in for WILSON/Jones depending on what role they playing in certain looks...for whatever reason last game Smith hardly saw the field...so hopefully its the reverse this game And agree...still some weaknesses yet to be adressed...or is it even recognized?..Thats probably the bigger question. And our interior dline needs Lawson back sooner than later if we are not gonna adress it Schmeck is good for a role and certain packages...not as a legit rotation...Korn is just not a legit pro...And if anyone wants to see why..this game if he gets snaps watch...he will either get blown off line and be irrelevant...or a olineman will engage him and he cant get free...and aagain...be useless....maybe then people will see why he is a wasted spot At least Schmeck will help us in short yardage defence...he is crazy god at knifing into where he needs to be and was one of the best exploding out of stance at snap believe it or not...and he also helped a lot in our short yardgae on offence Not sure if his injury will affect that...but he has become a good back end add to the roster used in that specific role...and the odd defensive snap

you can also be fluid in your budgeting and not pidgeon hole yourself in a certain position group...and if opportunity is there to get a guy where you may have to adjust whatever amounts you allocated per group...you do it...we dont...or havnt

yeah teams are closer in competitiveness now for sure But teams also were quick to pull the hook on ineffectiveness tho....Only a few will do that now...if any...Even if just for a series or 2 ...wont hurt...and can only help longterm and possibly in that game

yup...its the only other game in town....and if you have skill..wanna still play and make damn good money..the option is there One the main problems/issues is for whatever reason a lot of HC up here in the last 10 yrs seemed to refuse to play the backups for any reason and get them valuable experience...and when they got pressed into duty the either sucked...or fizzled out on no fault of their own and teams moved on looking for the next prospect

exactly...We had dobson and could have got rid of Kolo....but we didnt...and that is the point I was making...nor foresight..inability to evaluate talent...and basically playing guys they have a boner for ...for whatever reason when not the best option Dump Kolo 2..3 yrs ago...and his vet salary used to extend Dobson with a few sheckles added would have changed the oline trajectory in a big way I also didnt see that sound bite nor do I believe it if they said it...and if it the way thy do things..and the HC doesnt see the problems...both should hit the bricks. Cause hc essentially chooses his roster..and starters..he will take input but end of day its his choice..and the coords deal with it..like it or not...been that way in football forever and if its not the case here and his assistant coaches choose roster..then thats a 1 in a gazillion occurrence.. and totally dysfunctional...thats why Exactly..case in point number one...and many can be unearthed And if a converted guard beat him out..then why didnt we see that here and do same..with same player?? nah...Osh has and does make many bad decisions...this isn't isolated in any way, and I stand firm in my stance that he is a horrible talent evaluator...or shall I rephrase...doesnt value the right stuff at times in a player to be an actual difference maker. And needs to learn some humility and accept/own up to when he is effing up...He never takes ownership...and when asked whines like a lil biatch and gives attitude Vibert has shown nothing...and cant do the role Eli does...also if you watch our goaline unit...and jumbo..Eli always blasts thru the dline...and moved bodies...a lot of our "starters" actually dont I agree on this...He may not make it to main camp And even with the new cut rules now...I think Manu as well will be one the early guys gone...He has been basically eliminated from ever being a Tackle...and now they trying to shoehorn him into a guard and see if he can play there..and if he doesnt dominate and win a spot outright as a starter he is gone...they already have 3 yrs into him now, and wont add anymore to "try" and develp him into a guard...and most likely the other NFL teams see the same, and doubt he lands a PR spot elsewhere

I'd still contact Rhymes...see if he interested...and if he has stayed in shape and could be in lineup within a week of signing Can get him for nothing, and he is a vet who knows the league and the DB's in it...Plus would add some grit/arseholeness to our lineup...something we also lack and doesnt help us one bit We always when were successful had an Adams...Bailey type guy who got under the skin of opponents but also played physically and with a bit of anger...and it rubbed off...We as a WR group and as a DB group save for a few guys in the secondary are a bunch of panty waisted waifs for the most part...and dont strike much fear into anyone in the physical aspect of a game...and we get beat a lot being outmuscled...or with guys running free with zero fear

no...Likely Vibert Eli is if anything....Outstanding in role we use him and for all the ditractors against him...if put into use as a backup at minimum in game...wont hurt you But I disagree with all...He'd be fine at center, and was when Neuf was a late scratch

Eli's emergency start...he was just fine and if thats not at 100 percent...whats the issue...let him have another go....Elsbury you would think/hope would be getting better...but he's not...if anything he's declined...are teams seeing something in film study to exploit...plus his snaps are not consistent I'm all for an extra import if it moves the needle and makes you substantially better, as well as doesn't sacrifice something of need elsewhere on the roster, but he is not moving the needle one bit...It's not morphing our line into a dominant group and it's definately taking things away from elsewhere...WR With another legit threat...one who actually garners attention and can do something post catch...that alone gives the QB a bit of extra time for things to open up as well as just a viable option...which in turn would make the oline better yup..this...

we need to bring in a WR to help the offence...be it Singer or Womack...if they not the answer why they here?...a PR guy from some team...actually use our resources and find a guy not cut in the same mold of what we have...a whack of 5'10 and under guys with no real contested catch ability or field stretching excellence or swing a trade if possible I think once Clercius comes back him and Neild will be a nice combo for Canadian WR2 behind Demski and having Cobb and Daniels on roster is adequate backup for them...especially since we have MCI as well and can be used and considering that even if we run 3 import olineman we don't even have to go 3 Canadian receivers to satisfy the ratio...which makes this even more stupid....plus the fact we dont have the depth/quality really to run 2 out there...let alone start 3 and have coverage for injury...or suckage...but thats prob moot anyway as we all know Osh wont yank a guy in game for sucking...even when beaten repeatedly over and over...or just being insignificant Corcoran is just a waste of a roster position and not pro quality...we'd be better served dressing that Barbara Corcoran from Judy Lindsey Realty cause if anything she could prob hook our players up with a nice shack if need be...

They should have plays during game with both him.and mci in backfield together..and use motion and plays off each to keep defences honest..then in 1st and goal from inside the 10 when we go 2 back set..its a pick your poison for the defence
